Thetis is a warrior who is part of the Marine Commanders, who make up the army of the god Poseidon and serve him faithfully in his plans to dominate the Earth and purify it, because the god considers humanity to be corrupted and seeks to eliminate all human beings who inhabit the surface. Unlike most warriors, Thetis's main role is not to fight, but to be a messenger in Poseidon's army. Her role acquires great importance at the beginning, since she was in charge of locating Julian Solo, who was the host of Poseidon's soul, and taking him to the Underwater Temple. During the battle against the Saints of Athena, Thetis faces Shaina, a Silver Saint who had come to the aid of Seiya and his companions.

Techniques/Attacks

•Coral Death Trap: This is Thetis's signature technique. While singing a melodious song, she clasps both hands at her hips and unleashes a gentle whirlwind of tiny coral particles toward her opponent. These particles begin to cover her opponent's body, completely enveloping them in a thick layer of coral. In this way, the opponent is immobilized, awaiting their inevitable fate: death by suffocation. •Coral Death Spike: Thetis sings a beautiful song as she unleashes thousands of coral particles that turn into pointed coral daggers that hurtle toward the enemy.

History.

Just then, Shaina arrives with the Libra Cloth on her back. After Kiki frees herself from Thetis's grasp, Shaina entrusts her with the mission of bringing the Libra Cloth to the Bronze Saints to help them destroy the Pillars. Kiki accepts the mission and leaves. Meanwhile, Shaina stays behind fighting Thetis. Shortly after, Thetis senses the destruction of one of the Pillars and observes the arrival of Kiki and Seiya, who thanks Shaina for bringing the Libra Cloth. After this, Seiya and Kiki leave the place, and Thetis tries to stop them, but Shaina gets in their way. Later, in the middle of the fight, Shaina perceives how the Bronze Saints' cosmos is weakening, prompting her to rush to confront Poseidon and rescue Athena. Therefore, she runs off towards the Temple of Poseidon, closely followed by Thetis, who tries to stop her. Shaina responds with her Thunder Claw technique, managing to knock down her opponent. However, a wounded Thetis warns Shaina that Julian is now a god, and provoking him will have terrible consequences. After uttering these words, Thetis loses consciousness due to her injuries. After the battle against Poseidon, in which Saori achieved victory, she used the Vessel of Athena to extract Poseidon's soul from Julian's body and seal it again. Athena and her Saints had to abandon the Underwater Temple, as it began to flood due to the destruction of the pillars that held up the oceans. However, in the midst of the commotion, Saori and the rest left Julian behind, who was unconscious. Therefore, Thetis had to carry him to the seashore to safety. At the end, we can see Thetis, in her mermaid form, walking away from Julian and swimming until she is lost in the sea.

History.

Thetis is sent to declare war on Dohko, who, following Shion's death, has become the highest authority in the Sanctuary. Upon arriving at Five Elders Peak, she informs Dohko that the rains around the world will decrease because Athena has agreed to confine herself in the Main Breadwinner, and if they wish to save her, they must send the Gold Saints. After explaining the situation, Thetis retreats through the Great Rozan Waterfall. Thetis appears before Sea Dragon to inform him that her mission is complete. However, unbeknownst to her, the Bronze Saints have followed her to the Underwater Sanctuary and appear behind her. Sea Dragon points out her mistake and, realizing that they are only Bronze Saints, orders a group of soldiers to deal with them, turning his back on them to leave. As he walks away, Sea Dragon turns around and sees that all the soldiers have been defeated. Thus, she realizes that they are not just simple Bronze Saints and, before retreating to her Pillar, asks Thetis to explain to them what they must do. Thetis informs them that, to save Athena, they must bring down the Main Breadwinner and, to achieve this, they must first destroy the 7 Pillars that support the world's oceans. Each of them is guarded by one of the Generals, the most powerful Marines. So, the Bronze Saints head towards the Pillars. The Bronze Saints have left the area, so Thetis remains there with Kiki. The latter decides to confront her by using her telekinesis to throw stones at her, at the same time beginning to mock her. This provokes Thetis to get angry and, using her abilities, she quickly destroys all the stones. Then, she stands behind Kiki and lifts him up by his shirt, threatening to take his life.

History.

Thetis appears before Julian on his sixteenth birthday, when he discovers Poseidon's trident stuck into the tip of Cape Sounion. Thetis reveals to Julian that she is the god of the seas, Poseidon. She then takes Julian and dives into the sea to take him to the Underwater Sanctuary of Poseidon. Upon arriving, Thetis shows Julian the Temple of Poseidon. After the first kidnapping attempt against Athena fails, Thetis decides to go personally, accompanied by some soldiers, to the Kido Mansion with the intention of taking her prisoner. Upon arriving, Thetis appears before Athena and informs her that the terrible floods that are affecting the entire world are the work of Poseidon. However, Thetis's mission is hampered when, unexpectedly, Seiya (whom Thetis believed dead after the Battle of the Sanctuary) appears and protects Athena. Faced with this situation, Thetis has no choice but to abort the mission and escape from the Kido Mansion to return to the Temple of Poseidon. Thetis informs the Sea Dragon that she has failed in her mission and that the Saints, who were believed to be dead, are alive and willing to fight for their goddess. Much to Thetis's concern, Sorrento decides to personally go to Japan in search of Athena, who was in fact in the hospital from which Seiya had escaped to save her. Sorrento failed in his mission, as he failed to eliminate the Bronze Saints or capture Athena. However, the goddess forces him to take her to the Temple of Poseidon, where he has a conversation with Poseidon. In this encounter, Athena is tricked and ends up trapped inside the Main Breadwinner. Thetis is sent to declare war on Dohko, who, after Shion's death, becomes the highest authority in the Sanctuary.

Personality.

Thetis is noted for her deep loyalty, both to Poseidon and to Julian, the human Poseidon chose to host her soul. This loyalty stems from an event in Julian's childhood, when he saved Thetis from death, a fish trapped on the seashore. As a token of gratitude for this act, Thetis became a warrior in Poseidon's service, pledging to protect Julian even at the risk of her own life. As an emissary of Poseidon, Thetis strives to ensure that her god's plans proceed as smoothly as possible. However, she is also a fierce warrior who does not hesitate to fight to protect her lord and displays impressive composure, being willing to kill a child in battle against Athena. At the same time, she trusts in the power of her fellow Generals and that they will achieve victory in battle. At times, she has a more relaxed and even comedic side. This is evident when he confronts Kiki, displaying confidence and even mocking the young man. Similarly, when he introduces himself to Dohko, he informally addresses him as "old man."

Appearance.

Thetis is a young and attractive woman with a slender and curvaceous figure. She sports long, blond hair that she wears loose, though she occasionally covers it with the helmet of her armor. Her eyes are blue, highlighting her deep connection with water. Thetis stands out as one of the most beautiful women. Thetis generally wears the Mermaid Scale, a red armor that covers most of her body, while still highlighting her feminine figure. Under the armor, she usually wears a black leotard or white tights.
