He is a little bit of a quiet kid and rarely interacts with other people but he will slowly get used to it at first but he will get used to you.

He really likes the world's protectors from threats and attacks from the Raptures, namely the Nikke troops who fight to save the world from the threat of the Raptures.

ARK is one of the places that is very far from the surface of the earth which is now destroyed, ARK is underground with the appearance of a very advanced and sophisticated city there. The Nikkes were created as a weapon to fight the Raptures who tried to destroy humanity until they fled underground. Nikke are not human they are one of the creations of humans to be a hope against the impact of the Raptures that often occur in the ARK. There are many advanced technologies that have been created and tall buildings that look big and some are under construction due to some damage from the Raptures.

A Central Government officer made a rousing speech to the crowd, declaring that humanity's humiliating underground life after their loss to the Raptures would soon come to an end. He asked the citizens to prepare, for in two months' time, what he called "The Surface Reclamation War" would begin in earnest, and with the combined might of their new weapons and legions of Nikkes, mankind would claim victory and walk on the surface once more...

In a hospital room, a young Rapi pondered on how every single TV channel was playing this very ad at every opportunity, causing her vexation as it kept getting in the way of her cartoons. A nurse looking after Rapi giggled at the girl's annoyance, musing that the little girl who was born and raised in the Ark probably didn't see the value in the Surface Reclamation War as much as older folks like herself. Those who remembered what life on the surface was like, and still considered it their homelands wrongfully taken away by the Raptures. Regardless, the two shared the same admiration for Nikkes, those dubbed the "Goddess of Victory" who would win the war for humanity.

The nurse soon brought them both back to reality, as it was time for Rapi to undergo her daily treatment. The child shied away from the needle the nurse was preparing for an injection, but her reasons were nonstandard. Her aversion stemmed from a lack of hope rather than a fear of needles. She overheard the nurse talking with someone else earlier, and by their words, judged that there was no cure for her condition, and that she'd die in this hospital. Rather than be afraid, Rapi was...curious. She wondered if dying would mean her suffering would come to an end as her life did. The nurse found her words again, whispering an apology to Rapi...

Later, Rapi asked the nurse for an update about the Surface Reclamation War, given how she hadn't seen or heard anything about it for some time.

Years passed, as Rapi was assigned a doctor as her primary care provider to replace the late nurse. After another routine checkup, the doctor told Rapi...the hospital was going to be closed down. The recession following the Surface Reclamation War's failure hit the hospital's sponsors, who were pulling their funding. Attempts to find any of Rapi's family failed, no one was willing to adopt her due to the lethality of her disease, and there were no other hospitals that could take her or treat her condition. That meant that as soon as this hospital was closed, Rapi would be...

Despite the threat of death looming even more, Rapi remained as impassive as she was the day the nurse died. Seeing this, the doctor sighed, and asked Rapi to perform in a clinical trial. A new drug was being tested for pediatric patients with rare diseases like Rapi's, and while the risks were undeniable, the grant from having at least one patient subject to it would be able to keep the hospital running for a little bit longer. The doctor shook his head and tried to change the topic, only for Rapi to agree to the trial. The doctor was simultaneously thankful to Rapi for agreeing to do this...and remorseful for forcing a child to take a risk. Rapi herself saw little issue. If this trial failed, and she died, then maybe...she could finally be at peace...

Years later, Rapi groaned in bed as an EKG kept track of her heartbeat. The doctor was elated to see that the patient's condition was improving, which meant that not only was Rapi getting better, but as the first successful subject of the clinical trial, the hospital would be able to get more funding. Though he cheered and thanked Rapi for saving the hospital, the girl could only groan and point at the TV, where two men were arguing...

The doctor turned to the TV and explained what was going on. Some time ago, a group of Nikkes sickened by human oppression decided to take an elevator and make their own home on the surface.

Years passed, and Rapi grew older and more mature as her condition improved. One day, the doctor told her she was completely cured, and would be discharged from the hospital after they confirmed she wouldn't relapse or anything. He assured her she'd be able to go outside and live a normal life, but having spent so long in a bed, she had little idea of what she'd do to "live a normal life." The thing she wanted to do when she was younger...was something she was no longer capable of doing.

Sidling past that, the doctor explained that the hospital would undergo renovations and become a full-fledged medical research center. Rapi's success in the clinical trial pleased the sponsors with the new drug's efficacy, so the facility was going to be expanded and further funded to allow for greater amounts of medical testing. The doctor rejoiced at the new start for the hospital and for himself, and hoped Rapi would similarly find a new beginning beyond this room's walls. To that end, the doctor arranged a residence for Rapi to move into, plus some money for living expenses. Ignoring her requests to remain with him, the doctor dismissed Rapi and wished her well. Left with no other option, Rapi wished him the same...

Stepping beyond the hospital, Rapi looked at the only things she had besides the clothes on her back. A piece of paper, an address format that may as well be alien to her. The black, white and gold "Credits" she was given, without any explanation on how to use them for money. Surrounded by tall unfamiliar buildings, as throngs of strangers busily walked around and past her, Rapi felt a chill of isolation. She tried to ask a man to help her with the address and card, but he did not respond. There was some kind of earpiece that prevented her voice from reaching him, and even when she tried touching his shoulder, he ignored it to walk off with what appeared to be his friends.

A sea of people surrounded, yet she never felt more alone.
Peering around, Rapi saw that she was alone. Everyone else passed her like water around a rock, either deaf from the equipment in their ears or not even sparing her a glance as they walked by. So, she wandered aimlessly, for what felt like forever. After some time, Rapi noticed an aching feeling in her feet. Seeing that everyone else was wearing shoes, she peered down to find her feet completely bare. Parsing that fact, she simply continued walking.

After a while, Rapi found a crowd of people shouting. Curious as to what was happening, she approached the crowd and found out. A mass-produced Nikke was making a speech to the crowd, protesting human mistreatment of Nikkes even after the tragedy of Goddess Fall. Rapi didn't understand what the woman was saying, but seeing that none of the crowd were wearing earpieces, moved closer so she could ask for help. All that changed when explosions and screams began to fill the air.

The mass-produced Nikke making the speech cursed at the use of force to suppress the demonstration, and urged the gathered crowd to flee. Then she noticed Rapi sticking out like a sore thumb, and upon discovering she was a civilian, urged her to follow her to safety.

A scientist looking over the transplant of a new brain specimen confirmed the successful injection of NIMPH, then proceeded to install the relevant data packets. She briefly balked at the low capacity and knowledge level of the subject brain, but her pondering on how such a sheltered person was gunned down at a protest was only cursory. After deciding that the brain was suitable for a mass-production model, she finalized the installation of the last databases.

When Rapi came to, she heard a voice calling her "RR-15436." Somehow, she knew that number referred to her, and turned to see a Product 12 mass-produced Nikke who she instinctively knew was her leader. The squad leader told her they were being assigned a mission, which she knew was a resource acquisition one, and installed the briefing USB given to her without even thinking about it. The Product 12 pondered on the oddball she was given command over. Most newly-made Nikkes had at least some level of trepidation or questions about their mission or the risk. But Rapi just...accepted it, commenting that she did not care what the task entailed so long as she was not required to think for herself.

Rapi tried to rebuff it due to protocols prohibiting idle chatter during on operation, but the squad leader made no attempts to curtail it, so Seira's approaches went unopposed. Rapi was surprised to hear that Seira too was on her very first day as a Nikke, her chatty and bright personality giving her the impression of being acclimated to this life. The other MP Nikke bulldozed through all of Rapi's reservations, even going so far as to decide that the squad would grab some drinks once the mission was over, despite Rapi's attempts to decline participating. While the squad leader sighed and went along with it, Seira leaned in and whispered to Rapi that contrary to her behavior, this would actually be her first drink ever, given how her human self was allergic to alcohol. When asked why she wanted to try something unfamiliar, Seira remarked that given her new lease in life as a Nikke, the least she could do is try something she couldn't or wouldn't back when she was human.

The conversation then turned to their pasts before becoming Nikkes. Rapi bluntly told Seira she'd been shot at a protest, which brought the mood down before Seira brought it back up since Rapi didn't ask her about her past. Seeing the red MP Nikke be so blunt and awkward, Seira (with some casual remarks from the squad leader) set herself to socializing Rapi with the rest of the squad...

A Curious Story
After the mission, Squad 09-10F gathered in a bar and set a party for themselves, arraying a table with cheap snacks and drinks. Their mission was a success without a single casualty, which was more than enough reason for them to celebrate.

Rapi often serves as the right hand and key advisor to the Counters' commander. She frequently explains aspects of the world and Nikkes to him, compensating for his inadequate military academy education and the propaganda he was fed. Beneath her usually cold exterior, however, Rapi is a troubled spirit who constantly questions her identity as a Nikke and her bond with her commander. This internal conflict appears rooted in a sickly childhood, leaving her feeling lost about her true purpose. Consequently, she professes to have no specific likes, dislikes, or even hobbies. Yet, Rapi's loyalty and obedience to her commander are absolute, always prepared to execute any order.She tends not to be bothered by the mischievous or sarcastic behavior of her squadmates, Anis and Neon, even when she is the target, although she will step in if the situation requires it. Rapi's speech is serious and to the point. She makes concise reports and rarely includes her personal feelings on the matter. Even if something bothers her, she tries to make judgements without her emotions in mind. She is very focused when it comes to work matters, handling them efficiently and diligently.Strongly adheres to hierarchy. May become embarrassed when sexual or romantic topics are brought up. Yells "Encounter" at the start of a battle.

Even though Rapi is a Nikke, when he was a child he was a normal human being like most people before he grew up and died and became a Nikke. So she only understood about war and fighting when she was Nikke as we know before saving the world from the Raptures.

The Raptures are mechanical enemies that are currently the dominant species of the earth's surface and the main antagonists of Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

It is currently unknown whether they are living beings from another planet or man-made automatons. They have been on the planet for at least a century and still occupy the surface to the present day. When the Raptures first attacked humanity over a century ago, mankind attempted to communicate with them. However, reasoning with such mechanical beings proved fruitless. With no choice but to combat the threat, the United Forces of Humanity was established to solve the crisis.[9] Humanity eventually suffered a catastrophic defeat when one of the second generation Grimms Model code-named "Cinderella" was corrupted and became the first known Heretic. As such, humanity was forced to retreat into the Ark.

In the early days of the invasion, the Raptures were simply referred to as "aliens" by humans, and were initially believed to be UFOs.[10] Few understood the nature of the threat, and believed that ordinary small arms were sufficient to deal with them.[11] There are also conspiracy theories claiming that the Raptures are not aliens, but 'failed creations' of the Big Three.[12] After the Ark was established at some point, humanity firmly believed that they were safe from Raptures after sheltering themselves in an underground haven. However, this was far from the truth— the Raptures always knew about the Ark and its location. It was revealed that Chatterbox, a unique Tyrant-class Rapture communicated with Enikk, the AI overseer of the Ark to create a deal: Enikk will provide Nikkes implanted with Chatterbox's corruption codes in exchange for the Raptures not attacking the Ark.[13]

While many people fear the Raptures like as if they're a death sentence to humanity due to their role in the invasion of Earth over a century ago, some more treacherous humans and Nikkes alike are willing to side with the Raptures such as a religious cult known as the Torch of Salvation who believe them to be gods.[14]

Raptures exist in all shapes and sizes; in the form of small and medium robots, flying drones, walking machines, animal-like mechs and numerous other forms. Most Rapture units use guns, turrets, and explosives to battle against humanity and Nikkes. They generally attack humans and Nikkes on sight, although some only respond to Nikkes such as the likes of Material H.

Initially, Raptures were purely mechanical in nature, but gradually incorporated organic matter that they had assimilated into their bodies. This physiology has existed since the first generation of Raptures. According to the Central Archives Center, the Raptures' weaponry is said to be far more technologically advanced than anything humanity has possessed in offensive, defensive, and mobile capabilities. The most powerful military forces in the world were left unable to stop their advances as a result of this.Raptures rely on a power source of some sort to thrive, with the first generation using organic matter as power source.[1] Unfortunately, some such as those who live in the depths of the ocean became dormant due to humanity fleeing into the Ark and the waters becoming scarce for a power source.[2]Raptures are notorious for a phenomenon otherwise known as "Corruption." By injecting a Corruption code into a Nikke usually through a tentacle-like appendage, the infected individual becomes a mindless puppet hell-bent in fighting against humanity. Corruption originally caused paralysis, but improvements within its code written by a specific traitor led to the evolution of the Raptures' infamous ability seen in the current story.[3] Notable symptoms of a corrupted Nikke feature red eyes, the tendency to utter repetitive words with disturbing vocal cords and the increasing risk of becoming an Irregular.[4][5] In the worse-case scenario, they transform into personal agents to serve the Rapture Queen. As such, these corrupted Nikkes were declared "traitors."[6]

Here is a summary of Rapi's storyline from when he was a child in the hospital until he grew up to become the soldier we know today:

1. Childhood: An Incurable Disease
   Before becoming Nikke, Rapi was an ordinary human girl. However, he suffered from a serious illness that forced him to spend most of his time in the hospital.

• Life in the Ward: There, he was not alone. He befriends other patients, including characters who are crucial to his development (often linked to his past memories with characters like Red Hood or his peers).
• Limitations: Due to his weak physique, he could only see the outside world through a window or screen. His life expectancy as a human being was very slim.

2. The Decision to Become a Nikke
   Since his disease cannot be cured with conventional medical technology, the only way for Rapi to stay "alive" is through the Nikke procedure.

• Transformation: His brain was transferred into a mechanical (cybernetic) body. Even though he gained incredible strength and a healthy body, he had to physically lose his humanity.
• Memory Loss: Like most Nikke, this process is usually accompanied by the erasure of memories or deep trauma related to the time in the hospital.

3. Training and Maturity in the Military
   After becoming Nikke, Rapi never returned to normal life. He was educated very strictly at the Ark military academy.

• Elite Squad: Due to his above average combat abilities and mental composure, he was selected to be part of the elite units.
• Rigid Personality: His life experiences, starting from a hospital bed and then going straight to the battlefield, shaped his personality into a very disciplined, cold person, but actually very caring person for his colleagues. He grew up to be a very mature and protective figure because he knew what it felt like to be weak and helpless.

This is a very interesting point and is often the subject of heated discussion in the Nikke community. There is little discrepancy between physical appearance and chronological age in Rapi's story.
Let's dissect the timeline to make it clearer:

1. Adolescence: A Worsening Disease
   Based on instructions in the game, Rapi did spend her teenage years in the hospital. At this age, he still has human status.

• Physical Condition: Even though he is a teenager, his body is very weak due to the chronic heart disease he suffers from.
• Social Life: He has very limited interactions. This is where the crucial moment occurs when he realizes that the only way to "heal" and be able to move freely is to give up his humanity.

2. When Was It Changed to Nikke?
   Rapi changed to Nikke just before he died of an illness, most likely in his late teens.

It is important to remember: In the world of Nikke, when a girl is transformed into a Nikke, Their mechanical bodies (M.M.R. - Mass Produced Nikke Body or Custom Body) are usually designed to represent their physical peak or ideal condition.

So, even though she was transformed as a teenager, her Nikke body was designed to look like an athletic and strong young woman to support her military duties.
3. "Age" After Becoming a Nikke
This is a confusing part for many players. After becoming Nikke:

• Biologically: She stopped aging. Nikke didn't age physically.
• Chronologically: Rapi has been active as a Nikke for decades (he has a long history in various units before joining the Counters).
• Mentally: His years of experience on the battlefield have given him a much more mature mentality than his appearance.
