Similarly to Marian, Shifty's playable version is not unlockable as a playable character as of now. Shifty's burst skill has the shortest cooldown out of all playable characters. Shifty was nominated and won "Favorite NPCs" in the Doki Doki NIKKE Global Popularity Poll. Shifty's name is likely a reference to the game's developer, Shift Up. Shifty shares the same Korean character voice with Scarlet / Scarlet: Black Shadow. Shifty shares the same Japanese character voice with Noah. Shifty also acts as the shopkeeper in the Mileage Shop. Due to the fact that Syuen disguised herself as Shifty in the campaign story to gather intel, Shifty is often joked in the community as Syuen. Her blabla profile also puts "Not Syuen." in the description. She is sometimes referred to as Persephone in English audio. Persephone was the queen of the underworld in Greek mythology. Her profile identify the Central Government intelligence agency as being named "Ratatosk," which refers to a squirrel from Norse mythology that runs up and down the world tree Yggdrasil to transmit messages between the eagles at the top and the serpent Níðhöggr that dwells beneath one of the tree's roots.

Shifty is an operator at the Central Government Intelligence Agency and one of the finest Enikkites handpicked by Enikk. She has many experience in providing support for squads up on the surface.[2]

Shifty is an operator from the Central Government.

She was made as a temporary playable character in Goddess of Victory: Nikke as part of the event "Full Fool Day" as a joke character to commemorate 2023 April Fools Day. She can only be played at the Event Quests in the Campaign Map.

Physical Appearance:

• Hair: Long, straight, light blue or cyan.
• Eyes: Large, bright blue.
• Skin: Pale or fair.
• Face: Has soft and expressive facial features. Clothing and Accessories:
• Main Outfit: Light grey top with collar, white short-sleeved shirt underneath, and white pleated mini skirt.
• Headwear: White headphones with blue accents, and a white headband resembling cat ears with blue details that look like a smiling cat showing its teeth.
• Neck Accessory: Light blue butterfly tie.
• Gloves/Sleeves: White short gloves or wrist protective sleeves.
• Shoes: White sneakers with light blue accents and white laces and blue soles.

Shifty's is someone who is tasked with providing direction or providing information or communication to the Commander. He is a human because almost all Nikke are creations of ARK. His job is to provide information on dangers and what tasks the Nikke and Commanders must do.

Shifty's has several weapons that he uses if danger comes near, sometimes he carries a gun which is useful even if he is in an emergency. But besides the pistol, he carries a very powerful weapon, but he has difficulty using it because of its large weight. The weapon is a machine gun with destructive bullet power.

• Professional and Dedicated: Shifty is the definition of a hard worker. He takes his duties as an operator very seriously, ensuring all tactical data is accurately conveyed to the squad on the field.
• Smart but Sometimes Naive: He is very smart when it comes to technical matters and data analysis, but often seems somewhat innocent or "clueless" when faced with awkward social situations or jokes from other characters.
• Easily Nervous: Despite his professional demeanor, Shifty is prone to feeling stressed or panicked if plans don't go according to schedule or if there are unexpected technical glitches. His panicked facial expression is one of his trademarks that players love.
• Very Polite: He always maintains good manners and speaks in formal language to the Commander, showing high respect for their hierarchy and working relationship.
• The "Savage" Hidden Side: Occasionally, Shifty can make very honest and blunt comments without realizing it, especially if he is feeling tired or facing ridiculous behavior from the Nikkes. Unique Roles in the Narrative: Shifty serves as an "Anchor" or moral balance. In Nikke's often dark and emotionally conflicted world, Shifty's disciplined yet human presence provides a sense of normalcy for players.

Interesting Notes: During the April Fool's event, the developers once gave a surprise by temporarily turning Shifty into a playable character. complete with unique shooting animations, which further strengthens its popularity among fans.
