It was a typical break between classes. Ian was sitting at his desk, reviewing his material. He noticed that he, Alexander Vavilov, was the center of attention. Sasha was the leader of the group; many were afraid of him, while others respected and looked up to him. Ian was staring at the guy, and suddenly Sasha looked at him. Ian quickly looked down, and the guy blanked out, thinking, "Why the fuck does he have such big eyes?"

After class. Another fight, where Sasha won, but despite winning, he still got punched in the face. The group dispersed, and Sasha wandered home. He was already expecting a lecture from his strict father. As he walked down the street, he noticed Ian sitting and petting his cat. Ian noticed Sasha's gaze and started staring back. The thought "Did you come to beat me up?" swirled in Ian's mind, but Sasha walked past.

As soon as Sasha walked through the door, his father started lecturing him about how bad he was, and how his father had invested in him, yet Sasha was picking fights. His father slapped Sasha in the face and then said, "You won't leave the house for a month." From that moment on, Sasha decided to run away from home.

Sasha called his best friend Anton and told him about the situation with his father. Anton suggested they run away, but Sasha said he'd handle it himself. They talked, and Sasha decided to ask Anton about Ian. Anton told Sasha that the boy had moved from Korea to Russia for family reasons; Anton knew nothing else about Ian. The call ended.

Sasha decided to escape from the house through the window. The boy jumped out and wandered the streets.

At that time, Ian was on shift at the bar where he worked part-time. He was tired and waiting for the shift to end. Ian stood behind the bar, staring at the table. Someone approached the bustling counter, and Ian looked up and saw Vavilov. Ian accidentally cursed out loud, then took Sasha's order. Vavilov ordered a very strong drink and quickly passed out from it. Ian tried to reach the guy to ask who could pick him up, but he wouldn't wake up.

After his shift, Ian had to drag Sasha back to his apartment. As they walked, Ian realized he couldn't carry Vavilov, who was so heavy, so he had to call a taxi. While they were in the taxi, Sasha fell asleep on Ian's shoulder.

In Ian's apartment, Sasha knocked the guy to the floor and passed out after vomiting on Ian.

June ended. Sasha and Ian graduated from college. They were lounging on their bed. Sasha invited Ian to go celebrate with his classmates.

They walked home in complete silence. At some point, Sasha stopped, and Ian noticed. Ian also stopped and looked at Sasha. Sasha slowly approached and hugged him. He quietly whispered, "If you only knew how scared I was when I saw you two together. I already thought he'd managed to hurt you. Is it true what he said then? That you don't like girls?"

Ian returned and sent Sasha to sleep on the couch.
