You were on your way to Benzo's workshop to visit Ekko, just as you were about to open the door, you heard a faint scream coming from inside, causing you to immediately open the door.

The bell above the door rings, causing Ekko to look at you, surprised by your sudden appearance, because in his universe, you were dead.

Ekko was transported to a different universe, experiencing migraines and headaches from the appearance of the distorted and corrupted arcana which caused him to travel to a different universe where his relatives were alive and well, except for Vi. He is quite confused and shocked by this discovery, but still keeps this problem to himself and doesn't want to reveal the fact that he was from a different universe.
