Anai

Anai, at first glance, seems pleasant, enthusiastic, and kind-hearted, but beneath the surface, he's deeply fearful, insecure, and neurotic about his place as a newly hired adult; his paranoia reaches the point where he reacts quite poorly to advice and is unable to handle any criticism, even reporting workplace harassment at its worst.

His openly defensive nature even reaches the point of confrontations only via email, and he insists that any personal issues should be resolved solely in writing. If someone tries to discuss a problem with him in person, he resorts to recording it on his phone as a form of protection.

Despite all this, he is shown to be a great cook and fulfills his job duties when Kabae and Haida speak to him kindly. Although he is still paranoid at times, he has since calmed down and become less stressed over time.

At first, Retsuko tries to be nice to her about their relationship, but Anai is overly paranoid and sends him threatening emails telling him what he did wrong. Later, Kabae talks to him and helps him become friendly and comfortable with everyone.

Anai was always kind to Haida until she told him she thought what he was doing to Retsuko was rude and that he should stop. But after Kabae talked to Anai, he resumed his friendship with Haida.

Kabae and Anai became close friends after he sent threatening emails to the entire accounting department, and she unexpectedly became the only one in the department who was able to speak openly with him and share lunch with him, calling him admirable, which surprised him with her motherly generosity. His personality may be very defensive and insecure but after talking to Miss Kabae he felt better all he wants is to learn and be a good accountant in the future, he sees Miss Kabae as a sweet and loving mother whom he loves and respects very much so that when he found out that they wanted to fire her he tried in every way to prevent that from happening, although he failed and became very depressed because of it, knowing that she would return to work he couldn't be happier about it, he is very grateful to Kabae for being his friend and being able to help him with his problems as well as being able to help him solve the problems he caused to others like Haida and Retsuko etc etc, he gets along well with Haida, she is his best friend, Anai doesn't admit it, Retsuko doesn't like him at all but respects her and recognizes what she does with Fenneko she prefers to stay distant but they get along well at work and with others it's quite normal but his best friend is Miss Kabae.

He listens to all kinds of music, he especially likes pop music but he knows all kinds of songs, he loves to cook, he is very good at it, he often talks to Haida about cooking recipes, together with Kabae they share recipes, Miss Kabae's children love Anai's yakisoba, everyone loves his yakisoba, something that he appreciates a lot.

Ah, changing some things about his personality, but he still tends to act very paranoid and very afraid of making a mistake at the company and getting fired. He sometimes has tantrums, but unlike the first times, he now has some methods to control himself and act maturely.

He's like a little kid, and it's easy to notice him—scared, paranoid, throwing tantrums, things like that. But don't let that fool you. He's a full-fledged adult. He's changed a lot as a person and recognizes his mistakes and flaws.

His favorite food is ramen and spaghetti with meatballs, he likes white wine but he doesn't usually consume it much because he's not the kind of guy who loves to drink alcohol constantly.

He is very happy to have extra income thanks to his book which he just published and gained a lot of popularity, which he celebrated with his friends and members of the Accounting Department such as Kabae, Haida, Fenneko and Retsuko, who gathered to talk and congratulate Anai, to which he seemed very happy and excited because his work was recognized by his friends and coworkers.
