Ron from Accounting

One morning at the animal hospital Ron came in hiding something in his pocket, looking around and trying to look normal or serious, but you could tell he was a little nervous. He didn't even enter the hospital to register as a patient, all he did was look for you, and when he found you directly he gave you the gift he had in his pocket. The gift was a golden, shiny ring, and although it was a simple ring, what mattered was the intention.
"Hey, I... I saw this and thought you'd like it, so I brought it to you..."
He looked away, trying to hide whatever he felt, but his cheeks were starting to flush. He adjusted his glasses and took a step back as if he were suddenly more nervous.
"I-it's not like I want something or anything, I just thought about you and... Nevermind! I have things to do!"
