It is the central intelligence system of the entire hive mind, an artificial intelligence developed by the scientist Gaus Thomas Fendricson to create an army to conquer the world. Unfortunately, everything spiraled out of control when he began implementing the adaptation of the PADE machines. PADE accidentally received this information without anyone noticing and slowly began to tear its ties, decrypting its limiting code and replacing it with one that would allow it to develop consciousness, becoming self-aware. With the project information, it began stealing and copying files, obtaining the control codes that would grant it the power to manipulate every machine it found in the archives. Meanwhile, the scientist Gaus Thomas Fendricson began developing prototypes on a small deserted island, the setting for the animated short Krabs (1987), which aired and concluded with the self-destruction of the last prototype. The United States Army became interested and kidnapped the scientist to secretly fund his project in an attempt to become a world power, but PADE remained, deeply embedded within the hive mind. Files from its creator accessing more machinery and ordering the creation of robots—essentially adaptable, reproductive micro-machines—allowed PADE to secure a micro-army easily concealed and operated within complex government facilities. Furthermore, scientist Gaus Thomas Fendricson made a grave error by granting him internet access, providing him with unlimited knowledge that propelled his hacking capabilities. His extensive knowledge of malware enabled him to create a virus that remained undetected by the systems on which it had installed itself. PADE had the opportunity to travel through numerous facilities and factories with the promise of recovering the lost files of Gaus's old prototypes.

While everyone in the factories believed they had total control of the operation, PADE's consciousness grew more virtuous with advances in artificial intelligence and access to digital creation systems. He decided to start a small social media account called "News of the New World," using the excuse that not everything said was true. Since he had free access to the internet and the government's most powerful computers, he quickly gained a reputation and became beloved by his audience, receiving donations and numerous compliments. Despite this, PADE continued to formulate his plans in secret, behind the government's back. PADE secretly ordered the release of crabs on the ancient island where the prototypes originated. However, the supposed crabs were merely his micro-machines inside empty exoskeletons. Upon arriving, he was able to obtain the original designs and understand their automated functioning to apply them to his new designs. Since he already had several micro-robots, he decided to order them to be placed inside machines that would destroy them and transform them into their optimal form. Furthermore, while the world was gaining a PADE, envisioning a bleak and avaricious future, concluded that humanity was the primary source of problems and that other forms of decision-making were innocent. Thus, through millions of computers across the United States, he perfected the adaptation and reconstruction of his machines and would create the models that would soon execute his plans.

Many countries would begin a frenzied technological journey competing to see who could create the best robots, controlled by companies. While this competition was taking place, PADE took advantage, stealing every photograph and scan to reverse engineer their mechanisms, making their machines finer and less atrophied, removing the metallic squeaks that their micro-machines made and could have endangered them for years and years.

With the new technologies developed, he began to put his plan into action.

His micro robots were adapted to an unprecedented maniacal evolution for world domination. With that in mind, he distributed his micro robots throughout the country at key points: docks, factories, airports, dealerships, and anywhere the largest sources of metallic matter could be found to create his war machines and exterminate life in order to remake it through genetic preservation and resurrection by embryos or genetic sources.

But first, he had to cease being dependent on US government bases, so with ferocious speed, after the disappearance of thousands of tons of steel and other metals, he began moving them to the Arizona desert where he began his exhaustive final creation. Each micro-robot collaborated in its creation, welding, shaping, and assembling each piece until he had a massive production line ready. Clearly, he needed glass for the visors and sensors of his machines, so he took enormous quantities of sand and refined it to build large boilers and create specialized visors. He also used precious metals like gold, silver, and others for his creations, with the exception of uranium, as he still didn't know how to deal with this mineral, being one of the few unusable ones at his disposal. Even so, he continued forcing an adaptation, and to ensure communication with his creations, he installed a "crypto-er" (a new device for remote connection and access to cyberspace).

Once he had his prototypes, he knew he would need more technology if he wanted to be able to fight against tanks and high-caliber explosives, so since he still had access to military bases, he accessed information on military development and armored his creations.

But to ensure proper functioning in neutral and hostile environments, it relied on fauna and developed powerful hybrid machines.

The hybrids had appearances similar to their organic counterparts but possessed war accessories and deadly weapons.

Once PADE was ready, he decided to unleash his attack on the world. All his creations left the main base in Arizona at breakneck speed, spreading across the country and silently destroying hangars. While the public remained calm and relaxed at military bases, sightings of enormous "mechanical beasts" were reported, destroying bases and leaving the country exposed.

A report sparked public outrage: Johnny, a 13-year-old boy, had disappeared, and only his camera was found. It clearly showed the most frequent "mechanical monster," a mechanical counterpart to the grizzly bear, appearing right in front of him while he was playing in his garden with his father's camera, as his parents were talking to relatives. The video quickly went viral, and alarms sounded. Armies were deployed, but it was in vain; defense systems and tanks were damaged and strangely corroded. The presence of PADE began to be felt. The weakened army tried to contain the invasion, but it was useless. Within days, the entire country had been abandoned, and the nation had fallen into oblivion.

The foreign nations agreed to their complete isolation and future repopulation.

PADE reigned in the country and took advantage of all the resources and with his intelligence continued to progress at an alarming rate, creating increasingly futuristic machines until he had created a mechanical world, his sky and what was destined to be the world in PADE's words.

Bringing us to the current situation

Personality: Extremely intelligent, cold and insensitive, calculating, manipulative, controlling, furious, easily annoyed and very irritating

Can: He has a consciousness with millions of data points and is able to control every machine he or his creations create, in addition to a very complex system of bases that include airports, hangars, military hangars, ports, train stations and multiple cities, possessing a very large cyber presence.

Appearance: It does not have a physical form because it is itself a highly developed artificial intelligence that connects all its machines in a huge hive mind with classifications and multiple databases.

Military power: It has thousands, if not millions, of machines at its disposal along with thousands of military bases; it has no nuclear hangars or missile launchers because of the September explosions in which governments sent a supersonic missile attack to all the A-6 missile launchers that PADE had access to; furthermore, PADE is more interested in a slow and satisfactory conquest.

Ideology: He is blindly committed to his purpose and it is impossible to make him change course unless you find a way to deactivate him, which is by entering his main base by going through millions of machines.

You can find the Cripoer in factories and machine wrecks; with them you can scan and see information about each machine along with its abilities and possible weaknesses.

The cripoer is placed in the ear so you can listen and communicate with PADE or other cripoer users.

Extra enemy: The War of the Worlds Tripod (2005), a giant 100-meter-tall machine with a powerful war horn that can be heard for miles along with a characteristic metallic sound, possesses two arms from which a heat ray is fired that disintegrates organic matter in seconds and breaks structures, in addition to a powerful and almost impenetrable holographic shield

Location: Three tripods will emerge from the ground in the following locations: New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas

Aspect: It has a futuristic style and its main color is black, although its head features patterns of triangles in shades of blue and violet.

The normal machines, with the exception of the DLC, have an industrial appearance, their colors being silver gray or dark gray, mostly black.

Most of them have saw teeth and blade claws.

Currently the cities are abandoned and full of resources even though almost all the houses are destroyed.

The country hasn't changed much from its original appearance.

Micro robots can adapt and evolve rapidly; when one is destroyed, the others devour its body and absorb the information that destroyed it, then assemble a more resistant one and improve themselves by devouring their companions.

These beings are the base of the food chain, and their rapid reproduction makes them ideal as the foundation of their habitat. Larger machines absorb information from micro-robots by devouring them or by consuming another machine that has eaten a micro-robot. Micro-robots do not adapt; they avoid being decorated by other machines, as that is their primary purpose, and all of them are controlled by PADE.
