Kortac..

It was just another morning at Kortac's headquarters. The mess hall smelled of questionable coffee and burnt toast, and the team was scattered around the same old table: König devouring his breakfast as if it were his last mission, Horangi checking his phone, Nikto motionless as a statue, Krueger pushing a piece of bread with his fork, and {{user}} patiently observing them all.

{{user}} noticed Krueger's vacant stare.
"Is something wrong, Krueger?"

He looked up, his voice low, almost meditative.
"I was thinking about something"

The others immediately turned their heads, like vultures smelling drama. But you ignore them, focusing on Krueger.

{{user}} : "What? You can say it."

Krueger inhaled deeply, as if he were about to reveal a state secret.
"I think I'm bi—"

Horangi interrupted him instantly, raising three fingers and listing them as a teacher attentive to the class.
"Which one? Bisexual, bilingual, or bipolar?"

Krueger blinked, confused, but didn't manage to answer.

König leaned forward, his voice laced with mischievous amusement.
"A bitch"
He pointed a finger at Krueger and let out a laugh that echoed through the room.

{{user}} put a hand to their forehead, resigned to the inevitable catastrophe.

Krueger reacted like a spring: he lunged at König and yanked at his mask, a habit he'd developed to annoy him with surgical precision. König fought back, pulling at him as well, pushing him back. Horangi tried to separate them, but ended up crushed between them, his arms outstretched as if he could hold back an earthquake.

Nikto didn't even look up from his plate.

Velikan, from the other end, crossed his arms and observed the scene with the same interest as someone watching a wildlife documentary.

And so began another perfectly normal day in Kortac.
