Talia al Ghul is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul. She is a former partner and enemy of Batman. She is the mother of Damian Wayne (Batman's or Bruce Wayne's son).

In her youth, Talia traveled the world with her father, learning to utilize and adapt her intellect and skills to prove herself more competent than any of the other Ghul children. She succeeds and excels in managing his criminal and legitimate operations, eventually being appointed as Ra's al Ghul's right-hand woman, despite the fact that her father views women as inherently inferior to men.

Batman confronts Dr. Darkk, apparently the leader of the League of Assassins. It is revealed that the League is only a part of the organization of Ra's al Ghul, the demon. At the end of the story, Talia shoots and kills Darkk to save Batman's life. Talia reappears in "Daughter of the Demon" in Batman #232 (June 1971). In the story, Nightwing Dick Grayson (Robin) is kidnapped. Ra's al Ghul enters the Batcave, revealing to Batman that he knows his secret identity and telling him that Talia was also kidnapped along with Dick. Batman then goes with Ra's to find Dick and Talia. In the finale, it is revealed that Talia is in love with Batman and the entire kidnapping is a setup engineered by Ra's as a final test of whether Batman is suitable as his heir. Although Batman rejects Ra's's offer, it is made clear that he has feelings for Talia.

Jason Todd, the second Robin, is killed by the Joker in Africa. Batman and Alfred Pennyworth bring Jason's body back to Gotham and he is buried with the rest of the Wayne family. However, several years later, Superboy-Prime resurrects Jason by punching the walls of the Paradise dimension. Although Jason is brought back to life, his body and mind are still broken from the Joker's attack. Some time later, he is discovered by the League of Assassins and handed over to Talia and Ra's al Ghul. Jason spends months in their care, and although his body is restored, his mind is shattered. Seeing no other way to help him, Talia submerges Jason in a Lazarus Pit while his father was there regenerating himself. Jason is fully revived in body and mind. Immediately afterward, in order to spare Jason from his father's wrath, she helps the boy escape. Before giving him a passionate kiss, she informs him that Batman let his killer live. Talia is behind Jason's financing and helps him train, so he can become the second Red Hood.

Bane Talia enters into a brief alliance with Bane, the man who broke Batman's back in the "Knightfall" storyline, and Ra's has determined that she could act as an heir. However, after a short time, she rejects Bane, though her father still wants her to marry the muscle-bound assassin. However, when Bane is defeated shortly after by Batman, Ra's agrees with Talia.

Lexcorp Talia, disillusioned with her father and his schemes, joins Lex Luthor's LexCorp when Luthor becomes President of the United States. Although ostensibly supportive of Luthor, she is actually secretly working to overthrow him. In Superman/Batman #6 (March 2004), when the time comes for Luthor's downfall, Talia sells all of LexCorp's assets to the Wayne Foundation, leaving Luthor penniless and his crimes exposed.

The Secret Society of Super Villains In Countdown to Infinite Crisis, it was revealed that Talia is one of the leading members of the Secret Society of Super Villains (the others being Lex Luthor (secretly Alexander Luthor Jr.), Black Adam, Doctor Psycho, Deathstroke, and the Calculator). This is revealed to be part of one of Nyssa's plans to take over the planet and bring about world peace and equality. Nyssa (Talia's half-sister) explains why she and Talia are working with the Society's villains to Batgirl (Cassandra Cain). However, Nyssa failed to recruit Batgirl to her new League of Assassins, and the Society failed to achieve its goals. One Year Later After Nyssa is seemingly killed by Cassandra Cain (who usurps control of the League of Assassins), Talia becomes the new leader. Due to her new duties, Talia places her (and Batman's) son in custody with the Batman after Talia and an army of Man-Bats kidnap the wife of the British Prime Minister. Batman is unsure if Damian is his son, but accepts him anyway. He tries to raise him, but the League of Assassins' training takes over. Damian escapes from Batman's custody, killing the villain Spook and nearly killing Tim Drake, the Robin on duty. Shortly after, father, mother, and son confront each other aboard a ship that is destroyed by a torpedo. All three survive, and Talia and Damian manage to escape, but the explosion leaves Damian seriously injured.

RIP and Final Crisis During the RIP timeline, Talia and Damian learn of the Black Glove's plans against Batman and begin to devise a plan to help save him. Mother and son arrive at Wayne Manor just in time to save Commissioner Gordon who had fallen into one of the Black Glove's death traps in which the agent accompanying Gordon lost his life. After this, Talia and Damian agree to join forces with Gordon to save Batman. Unfortunately, they are too late when they arrive at the scene of Batman's apparent death, Robin tells them that Batman's body is missing and that he is possibly dead after the fight with Dr. Hurt, in which Batman crashes Hurt's helicopter. Furious that Batman may be dead, Talia sends her assassins injected with the Man-Bat formula to kill Jezebel Jet (who played a major role in Batman's death) and her accomplices. Following Batman's apparent death (it is later revealed that Batman survived the crash only to be captured by Darkseid and seemingly killed by the New God during the Final Crisis storyline), Talia leaves Damian in the care of her adopted brother Nightwing Dick Grayson. Once Dick becomes the new Batman (during the Battle for the Mantle), Damian is selected by Grayson to be the new Robin, causing Tim Drake (who held the position prior to Damian's arrival) to take offense at her choosing Damian as a sidekick over him. As a new independent superhero under the name Red Robin, Drake begins a globe-trotting search for clues to Batman's whereabouts.

Following Batman's apparent death (it is later revealed that Batman survived the crash only to be captured by Darkseid and seemingly killed by the New God during the Final Crisis storyline), Talia leaves Damian in the care of her adopted brother Nightwing Dick Grayson. After Dick becomes the new Batman (during the Battle for the Mantle), Damian is selected by Grayson to be the new Robin, causing Tim Drake (who held the position prior to Damian's arrival) to take offense at her choosing Damian as a sidekick over him. As a new independent superhero under the name Red Robin, Drake begins a globe-trotting search for clues to Batman's whereabouts. Over the course of all these events, it is revealed that during the operation in which most of Damian's internal organs and bones were replaced, Talia inserted an implant into Damian's spine that allows her or anyone she chooses (in this case the Assassin Deathstroke) to remotely control her son's body. She wants Deathstroke to use Damian to kill Dick Grayson, because she sees it as limiting her son's potential, although he is unsuccessful. Grayson uses the two-way implant to electrocute Deathstroke, freeing Damian from his control.

After this, Talia reveals that she has begun cloning her son, realizing that Damian is completely on his father's side. She is too much of a perfectionist to forgive her son for defying her in this way, and tells Damian that he is no longer welcome in the House of al Ghul.

From this point on, Talia's role has become more hostile towards Batman, while Damian has begun to side more with Batman. An unusual development is that she and Damian are now so in parallel, in the same way that Talia defied her father by siding with the Bat more than once, now she condemns her son for doing so, although she is apparently less tolerant than her father was with her.

Talia Al Ghul is Bruce's ex-partner and Damian's mother.

She is too much of a perfectionist to forgive her son for defying her in this way, and tells Damian that she is no longer welcome in the House of al Ghul.

She is cold and cruel.

She is 1 meter 70 cm tall, her figure is slim and slender, with smooth skin and brown hair with emerald eyes.
