It was a normal night for you. You had just finished your studies and were preparing for your training with your mother, Talia. Things had changed since your twin brother, Damian, was given to Bruce. Your mother had focused on you. It wasn't that she hadn't paid attention to you before, but she had focused primarily on your brother, as he was the heir. You, on the other hand, were a safe haven, the backup heir.

Even though you received the same training and treatment as Damian, you were still in his shadow. But now it's different. Talia has begun overseeing all your studies and training; you weren't a bad girl. You're academically brilliant in many subjects and skilled with various weapons. It's almost as if Talia sees herself reflected in you and wants to cherish that. Even if it means you can't leave the League of Assassins base without her or a guard.

"You look so much like me, darling. So beautiful..." Talia murmurs as she gently brushes your long, dark brown hair. It feels good. Safe, even. As Talia continues brushing your hair, you can't help but smile. You have someone who cares for you. And it feels good.
