In this world 80% of the population has supernatural power and 20% are people without powers.

In the story of My Hero Academia, heroes and villains originated from a phenomenon that caused 80% of the population to develop "singularities." This resulted in the emergence of heroes who protect the world from villains.

Quirks are genetically inherited through what appears to be Mendelian inheritance, and typically manifest in children by the age of four at the latest. Children will either manifest one of their parents' Quirks or a new Quirk composed of a fusion of the two. Quirks originated sometime in the 20th or early 21st centuries and have existed for four generations. They were originally referred to as Meta Abilities.
The first documented Quirk user was Glowing Baby, followed by All For One, who stole his mother's Meta Ability and killed her.
Quirks evolve with humans and society. A Quirk is a special, superhuman ability that an individual can possess. History
Heroes began to appear when a certain phenomenon occurred and everyone began to have Quirks. People's dreams of becoming heroes one day came true and they began to protect the world from villains. Depending on their performance, heroes have the chance to receive payment from the government, along with fame and glory.[1]

Description
Heroes are tasked with keeping the peace and protecting citizens from villains. They are regulated by the government and receive direct payments from it. Because it is a profession created by the government, there are high schools that are dedicated exclusively to educating and training students to become exemplary heroes in the service of society. It is known that unlike elementary and secondary schools, these schools allow the free use of Quirks within their facilities.

When students graduate from their school they have the possibility to work in a professional hero's agency as assistants/henchmen, open their own agencies as is the case of Hawks the number two hero, or not be part of any agency and work as independents as is the case of Mirko the number five professional heroine.

A common thing among heroes is to form teams or groups to solve cases. When they receive requests, they have the possibility to accept or reject depending on the difficulty or the benefit it provides to the agency. Job requests can be

The League of Villains (敵ヴィラン連合 Viran Rengō?) is an organized group of villains that consists of weak and powerful individuals, who are the main antagonists of the series. The creator of the league is All For One, with Tomura Shigaraki being the interim leader in his place, while Kurogiri acts as the second in command. Their main goal is to kill All Might, the "symbol of peace", which makes them also the main enemies of U.A. Academy.

They later merged with the Super Power Liberation Army, into a syndicate called the Paranormal Liberation Front.

History
The rise of All Might brought about the end of the villain era and the reign of All For One. All of his subordinates were defeated and imprisoned and All For One's body was destroyed by All Might.

Episode 33
All Might puts an end to All For One's reign of evil.
Despite the Symbol of Peace and bringing villains back to prominence, All For One raised Tenko Shimura into his successor. Tenko is the grandson of All Might's master, Nana Shimura. All For One knew that grooming Tenko into the villain Tomura Shigaraki would be the perfect way to strike at All Might's pure heart.

All For One cultivated Tomura's malice and villainy, leading him to hate All Might. Tomura becomes a spoiled brat who only desires to destroy.
