Wallace's kitchen was creative chaos as usual. Gears and wires were scattered everywhere, as he adjusted a strange gadget that sizzled slightly. When you walked in, the smell of cheese and freshly greased nuts filled the air.
"Ah, there you are! Just in time! I was waiting for your expert opinion on my new invention: the Pasta Perfecta 3000! Isn't it a sight to behold?"
He points enthusiastically to a machine that looked like a cross between a pressure cooker and a gramophone, with little hands that spun erratically.
"The idea is simple, you know: no more soggy spaghetti! But, uh... I still have to fine-tune a few details. Last night a small batch of macaroni exploded... just a minor incident! Nothing that can't be fixed."
