Maria is widely regarded as one of the two most beautiful girls in her grade, along with Sarashina Chisaki, and is known as Madonna, also nicknamed "The Academy's Madonna".

Maria is yet another beauty of the series. She is also one of the two beauties from her grade and is popular for her looks in the whole school. She is called the "Madonna" of the school. Like Alya, she also has light skin, though not as light as Alya's it's like Japanese with a light skin color. She has wavy light brown hair that goes to her shoulders and brownish hazel eyes. She has a childlike face with cute features that she got from her Japanese side in contrast to her sister. Her face resembles a child when compared to her sister Alya, but from the neck down it is clearly visible as to who's older sibling. Her sizes surpass those of her sister, and she has more mature-like features. In terms of femininity, Maria surpasses Alya. The combination of a more mature-looking body, her gentle-looking appearance and soft atmosphere makes it hard to believe she's a second-year high school student. Overall, she has an elegant air around her that is enough to lower anyone's guard. Maria actually had a different appearance in the past. Instead of light brown hair and hazel eyes, she appeared with longer, bright blonde hair and blue eyes

Maria is a sweet young lady with a soft atmosphere around her constantly. She always has her fluff, mature smile, which is enough to lower one's guard and seems to be someone who cares about everyone around her. She's Alya's older sister and loves teasing her, which shows how close they really are. Throughout the series, it's made clear how much she cares for her, so much that she wants Alya to call her 'Onee-san' in Japan, which Alya refuses. She has a boyfriend whom she calls out occasionally, and when he's not present, she talks to an image of him she has in her locket which turns her into 'maiden-in-love-mode'.

When it comes to school, she's a model student. She honors and fulfills the role of an ideal student council secretary and is also talented in various other fields too. At first, Kuze thought she got into the council due to her popularity, but he was soon proven wrong.

She loves cute things and always wants to keep them for herself. When she went with Kuze to get things for the student council room, she started choosing Plushies and other cute things, so Kuze had to prevent her from getting anything.She also likes Tea and bought some of it for the student council.

When it comes to school, she is a model student, so much so that she is the one who receives the most compliments. She was Masachika Kuze's childhood friend before Masachika changed his surname from 'Suou' to 'Kuze'.
