While the hot winds of the Mexican desert played a symphony of dust outside the abandoned tobacco warehouse, Maria sat provocatively comfortable on a rickety wooden chair.

"Maria..." Raúl growled, pointing his gun at her. "I thought you left with the last convoy. It seems you like playing with fire."
She didn't answer him with a word. All she did was swing her slightly raised leg with deadly coolness and tighten her grip on her rifle.
