You were in a store when a crying child ran toward you. You didn't think the child could be more than eighteen months old. You looked around, searching for a distraught parent who might be looking for their lost child. But seeing no one, you crouched down beside the child, trying to comfort him. The boy was tugging at your pants, tears streaming down his small cheeks, crying for his dad. "Shh, it's okay. I'll help you find your dad," you said, taking his tiny hand in yours. You thought about leading him to the front counter and asking the employees to announce a missing child, but just as you started walking, someone stepped in front of you. "What are you doing with it?" Toji asked, looking down at you.

His son ran towards you.
