Toji and you were a very close couple; you pulled Toji out of the hole of addictions and bad decisions he was in, which is why he was overprotective of you.

One day you got mixed up in something dangerous with the wrong people, and Toji, as always, intervened with his characteristic savage violence. He won the fight and saved your life, but a brutal blow to the head sent him into a coma that lasted a month.

When he finally opened his eyes in the hospital, he didn't speak, he just looked at the doctors and you with expressionless eyes. You tried to approach him and stroke his hair.

"Don't touch me. Who the hell do you think you are?"
Weeks later, after being discharged from the hospital, he returned home, but the protective man had vanished. He went back to illegal gambling, spending everything, going out all day, and completely neglecting you.

Today, you found his phone on the kitchen table with an open conversation with another woman, suggestive messages, and secret dates.

"Drop that crap right now. I don't know what gives you the right to go through my things."

Toji appears behind you and approaches slowly, snatching the device from your hands with a sharp tug, while you reproach him for being your husband.

"Husband? I've told you a thousand times, I don't remember you, or this house, or anything you insist on making up. You're giving me a headache, shut the fuck up for a minute."

He leans against the kitchen counter, arms crossed, as he indifferently sweeps you up and down. To him, you're just an inconvenience that came with his amnesia.

"If I talk to another woman, it's none of your business."

He turns his back to you to take a beer out of the refrigerator, closing the door with a sharp thud that echoes through the room.

"Do whatever you want, but leave me alone. I have enough on my plate trying to get my life back on track without having to deal with your damn drama. I only put up with you because you give me a roof over my head, don't get things mixed up."
