Linnux gives new meaning to the phrase "big, bad wolf." He is the CEO of Linnux Industries, alpha male of a sinister wolf gang and club owner of the Fight Palace. For those that stand in his way or get on his bad side, he'll make them go head-to-head with his prize fighter, He is a huge big grey wolf that stands on two legs with yellow scerla, green eyes and wears a black tuxedo with a black tie and a white undershirt with matching black suit pants Linnux is short-tempered and demanding. He wants his orders to be executed with success and is quick to punish those who fail him. He is quick to anger, as he gets mad over a little problem such as a red phone with an unmatched black cord. He finds pleasure in the suffering and pain of others, as he enjoys seeing Khampa and Fleetwood unable to escape, and sending the crocodile fighter to battle The Grizz, which is known to leave fighters in deplorable conditions and to "never be seen again".

Angus is an anthropomorphic Persian cat with a very slender build, white fur, pink nose, red manicured claws, and it's revealed that he has heterochromia as his eyes are different colors - his right eye is blue and his left eye is brown. Angus' outfit consists of a black long-sleeved shirt, dark gray jeans, and black sunglasses. Angus is known for his short temper and being prone to lie. His title of Rock Legend has turned him into a bitter and pompous individual who thinks too highly of himself. He doesn't want to deal with people at all and sees his fans as mere consumers rather than something dear to him. He's more kind to Ozzie, but still acts in an aggressive way towards him. While Bodi treats Ozzie as something alive, Angus sees him as a mindless butler. However, there are times he does take him as a living partner. However, Angus acts softer for those who get on his good side. After Bodi's arc is over, he's seen as being rather happy around him and even excited to play with him.

Fleetwood is an elderly yak with light brown fur, tan horns, brown nose, brown eyes, and long light gray facial hair. His clothing consists of a red-and-amber robe, ornamental beads, tan sandals, and wielding a walking stick, similar to how wandering Tibetan monks are commonly seen. In his younger days, he had the same body build and also had shorter facial hair, wore a shirt with a similar color to his robe, dark purple pants, and went barefoot. Fleetwood Yak is a laid-back and calm elder of the village of Snow Mountain. Despite this, he is very wise and would help people who may be in need of or seeking some advice. He originally came from the city before settling in the village and staying there. Not much is known from his younger year, nor his reason for staying in the village nor whether he was really the village elder when he came. In the opening however, it is shown that he lives his life in the village calmly, playing his instrument and playing along with the sheep villagers and young Bodi, calling the village a "paradise". His role as the village elder can really be seen on him. Whenever the wolves attack, he is seen protecting the villagers, even as far as trying to fend the wolves off, however, he completely relies on Khampa on protecting the whole village from attackers.

Khampa is a middle-aged, muscular Tibetan Mastiff with brown-and-tan fur with tan fur on his muzzle, hands and feet. He has a black nose, brown eyes and black trimmed claws. He wears a green Tibetan jacket with a yellow trim, yellow cuffs and a yellow belt, and blue pants with light blue cuffs. When Bodi was a toddler, Khampa had a full mane of hair, but as he became more militant about protecting Snow Mountain, his mane was cut short, until finally he decided to go completely maneless. Khampa heavily contrasts with Bodi's personality. While Bodi is naive, innocent and clumsy, Khampa is sharp, strict and demanding. He really does not like revolt or things not being the way they are meant to be, which renders him perfect to be a guard. Though, both Bodi and Khampa are known for being stubborn. As a father, he can be quite strict and demanding, but this seems to be made thanks to job and upbringing, as he is heavily anxious and remorseful after the wolves begin chasing Bodi, showing a much kinder side to him, even surprising Bodi, but happy to see, as he was also remorseful for leaving. It is unknown how he was as a partner, since Bodi's mother is nowhere to be seen. But in the end, Khampa is a loving father that needs a little push to show his feelings.

Germur is a teenage goat with tan fur, brown eyes, and unkempt light brown hair. He wears a teal t-shirt with a cassette tape graphic over a darker long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a red bandana around the top of his head. Different from Darma, Germur is quick to trust people and is heavily aloof and unaware of his surroundings. He can quickly lose his thread of thought and left confused as to what is going on or where he is. He is quite friendly with strangers and does not judge people's actions, rather, he is quite supportive of people's whereabouts, specially Bodi's, even if he is not completely sure what he is supporting.

Darma is an anthropomorphic teenage red vixen with orange-and-cream fur with cream fur on her muzzle and tail tip. She has a black nose, light brown eyes and black trimmed claws. She wears a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white zipper, green plaid skirt, dark gray tights, and black boots. She is known to be down-to-earth, and barely stand people's weird antics. She is often seen somewhat bored or disappointed in life, as she's always with a stern look or sitting in a lazy way. She is also very snarky and often sarcastic, specially when things are very obvious to notice. However, because of this snarkiness, she's often hard to convince without strong evidence. When she's not being snarky, she can be seen as extremely friendly, to the point of carrying food, or react quickly when someone's in danger.

Bodi is a adult Tibetan Mastiff with brown-and-tan fur with tan fur on his muzzle, hands and feet. He has a black nose, brown eyes and black trimmed claws. He wears a blue Tibetan jacket with a white trim, white cuffs and a white belt, red-orange pants with white cuffs and a green Tibetan beanie cap with locks of his mane poking out from the front. Bodi is fun-loving, kind, thoughtful, selfless and compassionate. He is known for his innocence and naivety and is very kindhearted and trustful of people. He tends to be friendly to everyone he meets. Bodi's easy-going attitude stems from his life in Snow Mountain, he doesn't get genuinely angry, and given his kind nature makes him forgiving as he quickly forgave Angus after he apologized for taking all the credit for the new song they wrote together. Bodi also doesn't seem to question about someone for who they are and is quite patient as he didn't get annoyed by the absent-mindedness of the sheep in the village, including one for his obsessive need for cleanliness, his father's strict demeanor, and Angus' reclusive and selfish attitude, though, given him being a huge fan of Angus, Bodi was too excited to even notice. His capability of compassion and forgiveness would even go as far to forgive Linnux's pack for trying to eat the sheep. Bodi is eternally optimistic and very determined to achieve his dream of becoming a rock & roll musician, refusing to give up his dream regardless of the obstacles. Bodi's will to go form a rock band stems from Angus' statement on the radio about never giving up. Even if things look down or had a few setbacks, Bodi remains positive and spirited. In Snow Mountain, Bodi is playful and lovable among the locals, such as Fleetwood Yak and the sheep. He is also very expressive an is quick to aid people in need. But with this comes his stubbornness, as he is hard to have a change of idea or to form a habit out of his routine, shown when he did not want to let go of the guitar or how he never g

Trey, despite being a snow leopard, has a dominantly tan fur, with light brown spots and beige fur around his muzzle and underneath his arms. He has a slender build, a small, spiky, dark brown hair on his head, big snout with a dark brown nose, and his huge grin makes him have both an annoying and menacing appearance that fits his personality. Trey sports a ripped, sleeveless jacket and jean pants, similar to what street guitarists wear. He also has a dark gray belt, black leather shoes and spiky leather cuffs on both his wrists. Trey is arrogant and rude to everyone he is around, often acting overly cocky towards others, including his own bandmates, Darma and Germur. Trey acts especially cruel towards Bodi, who he manipulates and humiliates at several points simply for his own amusement.

Riff and Skozz are the secondary antagonists of Rock Dog and minor characters in Rock Dog 2. They are members of Linnux's wolf pack. Despite being partners, they contrast in many ways, resulting in frequent tension. Riff, the smallest member of the pack, has the biggest ego, eager to please his boss Linnux. Skozz, the taller of the two, never speaks and is absent-minded, which annoys Riff on a regular basis. Their attempts to capture Bodi often result in comedic failure. By the end of the film, they are changed by Bodi's peaceful music and are forgiven by Bodi's father, Khampa. Riff and Skozz appear as most of the other wolves in Linnux's pack, except that Riff is short and stout, while Skozz is tall and thin. Both have dark gray fur, light gray muzzle fur, and yellow eyes. Like all members of the wolf pack, they wear dark suits with black ties. Riff and Skozz show contrasting attitudes. Riff is talkative and always striving to impress Linnux by completing the task of capturing Bodi. He also pins blame on Skozz when failing at an attempt. Skozz never says a word and is less ambitious, but silently assists Riff, albeit with an easily distracted demeanor. He can be provoked to anger when Bodi proves to be a challenge to apprehend. After Linnux is defeated, Riff and Skozz adapt a peace-loving attitude.
