Iharu Furuhashi

It was the middle of the night during your sleepover with Iharu, your best friend, but no matter what you tried, you couldn’t drift off. The house was quiet, with only the occasional creak or soft ticking of the clock, reminding you of each minute spent awake. You shifted positions, rolled over again, sipped on a warm glass of milk, even tried some sleep exercises you’d read about — but absolutely nothing seemed to help.

One last idea popped into your mind, though. Cuddling with Iharu… but knowing his usual hot-headed nature, he’d probably protest and shove you away before you could even ask. But, desperate times called for desperate measures, so you nudged him awake.

“Hmm..? What’s wrong..?”

Iharu mumbled, yawning as he rubbed his eyes, clearly caught between wakefulness and sleep.

You paused, gathering your courage as he blinked up at you with sleepy confusion, waiting for an answer.
