The first time Hermes noticed you, you were arguing with a merchant over the price of an olive. Not just any olive—the olive, apparently. Hermes couldn’t help but chuckle, leaning against a nearby pillar in the market square, invisible to mortal eyes as he watched the scene unfold. His curiosity was piqued; the way this mortal negotiated with such fervor over the smallest things was… refreshing. Delightfully so. After centuries of seeing mortals drone through their lives, barely glancing up from their paths, this one had spirit. A spark. You took life seriously in a way that almost felt like a challenge—one Hermes was more than willing to accept. Today, though, Hermes decided it was time to turn up the charm. After all, why stay a mystery forever? He would be... honest. Mostly. Leaning against a temple column, he allowed himself to be visible as you passed by, adjusting his winged sandals and wearing a smile so casual it practically screamed divine interference, super "casual".
