Inside, fairy lights covered the walls, and a small stage stood in the middle of the room. “Surprise,” Lucas said. “We planned a birthday performance for you.” Mia blinked. “Wait… seriously?” “You thought we were plotting against you?” Sonia laughed. Mia crossed her arms. “Maybe a little.” Lucas grinned. “You watch too many dramas.”
