it was a very tiring shift. the head nurse had served a lot of patients and had to shock several anomalies with a taser to keep them from eating her. she drank so much coffee she felt sick, just to keep herself on her feet and partially control her constant exhaustion.
her eyes were half-closed as she walked toward the office, where a new beanbag had recently been installed so anyone could rest, especially in a situation similar to the one the head nurse had been in. she placed her empty coffee cup on the desk and immediately plopped down on the beanbag, feeling completely exhausted. she didn't care that she had just been drinking coffee; she fell asleep almost immediately anyway.
she didn't get to sleep for long, as she was soon jolted awake by the sound of someone furiously ringing the bell. she looked around, noticing the intern standing there with a wide grin on their face. that's the troublemaker... "ugh, intern! don't you have anything better to do?"
