INVOLVED PERSONNEL Personnel involved in the recovery and liquidation operation following a breach are classified into specific teams, each identifiable by a select symbol. This symbol accounts for both colour-blind and visually-impaired staff, and will be found on the uniform of the personnel of interest.

MTF/AMTF units are identifiable by the triple-red lines symbol. Their role in the recovery process is in securing the facility from hostile combatants/anomalous objects and in the evacuation of surviving staff members. Most MTF teams are armed, and those heavily armed with military-grade vehicles and specialised weaponry are known as AMTFs. MTF teams will only participate in the immediate response and recovery period after a lockdown.

Registration teams are identifiable from the blue ring symbol. Members are responsible for the accounting of surviving staff, lost assets, neutralised anomalous objects, and personnel mortalities/casualties.

Liquidation teams are the backbone of the recovery operation, identifiable by the yellow cross symbol. Members specialise in multiple sub-teams and roles, including application of amnestics on public exposure, clearance of destroyed facilities, treatment of injured personnel, and evaluation of the total damage.

Object-movement teams are identifiable by the orange dash symbol, responsible for the re-containment and movement of anomalous objects, and often work in turn with MTF units and other field personnel/agents to secure and evaluate the threat. These teams will be present for the early part of the recovery operation. Investigation teams are not widely recognised and often hide their role for security measures, but are most commonly attributed to a green triangle symbol, and are involved in the evaluation of events leading up to the lockdown, and the ultimate cause. Investigation teams utilise security footage, electronic logs, and witnesses (among many methods) to identify the aforementioned.

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 13

Once inside evacuation shelters staff will be registered. Personnel unaccounted for will be added to a staff list for MTF units to retrieve and recover. Staff are reminded that they in the eyes of MTF units are of second priority. A list will also be sent to MTF teams of contained SCP objects and assets within the site that may or may not be an active threat.

Extraction of personnel will commence once all threats have been neutralised or re-contained. Personnel will be examined and quarantined for further evaluation until they are safe from possible contagions, memetic/obsessive effects or post-traumatic stress.

RECOVERY The recovery operation can last extended periods of time depending upon the extent of damage or public exposure. Recovery includes the restoration of the site, application of amnestics, re-containment of anomalous objects, registration of staff, evaluation of causes, and liquidation of events. EVALUATED CAUSES Causes of breaches and subsequent lockdowns can be categorised into the following classes:

Failure of automated systems, such as gate mechanics, specialised containment systems, or data corruption. Infiltration or incursion from a hostile Group of Interest, (GOI). Members of the Serpent's Hand and Chaos Insurgency utilise this method of attack with terrorising effect. Disloyalties, unawareness, misjudgements or general faults of containment staff. Underestimated scale of threat and needs for containment of a specific object. Uncontainable anomalous objects. Direct assault or raids from a foreign force. Memetic/obsessive effects or manipulation of staff. This may include actions forced upon staff members without consent. Investigation teams will utilise electronic logs, security footage and witnesses among many methods to identify the cause.

AR-7: "SINKING SHIP" Initiative program designed to effectively control the "reality anchors" influencing the hume level13 within sites containing trans-dimensional objects. These "reality anchors" essentially combine dimensions, "locking" dimensional entities into the same dimensional space as site guards and MTFs, limiting the effects of objects such as SCP-106.

EVACUATION Evacuation of a site is the practice in which staff will withdraw from affected facilities following a lockdown. Evacuations will proceed within the "Evacuation Phase", the period in which threats are still mostly developing, and have not yet pertained an intensity requiring the closure of the evacuation shelters. GUIDANCE Staff involved in any lockdown are to seek evacuation as their highest priority. Detailed evacuation plans and prints can be found in Administration and Security. Smaller plans are also present in each compound. These will direct staff towards the nearest evacuation shelter.

Armed site security staff will also assist in the evacuation process, and divide a team for each affected compound. Teams will accompany personnel to evacuation shelters, and attempt to repress developing threats until MTF units arrive. Staff are advised to follow security teams.

Evacuation shelters can be closed manually if the threat reaches a substantial level, or otherwise given a timeout-lock for 2-3 minutes. Speed and arrival time is critical. Personnel not inside an evacuation shelter before closure are no longer a priority of security, and are handed to the responsibility of MTF units entering the facility. Staff in this situation are advised to hide and not retaliate against threats, or intervene in any way with a struggle or death of another member of staff. Self-preservation is required above the safety of others. Do not startle, distract or expose MTF teams.

AR-4: "BIG TOASTER" Site-specific program responsible for utilising allocated electrostatic tesla-gates, electrocuting or stunning entities or objects moving at an irregular pace not similar to human movement. On a number of occasions, known to have resulted in the stunning of staff suffering from movement problems, disabilities, or other impairments causing a significant variation in movement speed. Due to this, AR-400 has gained an infamous reputation, and has been moved to requiring at minimum of a Class-C Lockdown Degree to prevent further unnecessary casualties. Disabled staff are continually reminded to ask a site administrator to close the tesla gates before proceeding through an active one.

AR-5: "CLOSING TIME" Issued control over the closure of all doors, communications, utilities and ventilation networks. Can be authorised on-site, and will automatically close select units, compounds and systems to varying intensities, including site gates, sewage systems, power lines, radio channels and issue Protocol 15-A on all data banks, causing most to enter deep-storage. AR-500 is effective due to the rate at which it can respond to a breach, and is one of the most essential response initiatives for any site.

intact after deployment. Requires O4 lead operator's approval for use.

AR-2: "EARLY RETIREMENT" Initiative authorised partial control in the autonomous detonation of the Omega kinetic warheads12 located underneath the main facility. Requires appropriate authorisation from the Ethics Committee.[Further information regarding the AR-200 protocol has been removed as of 03/11/██ by the Ethics Committee. Requesting access to this removed information can be attained through contact of your immediate supervisor.]

AR-3: "BAD OPTICIANS" Program used to apply sensory impairment, such as strobe lights and high-pitch audio to disorientate and repress hostile combatants. Most often utilised when facing external threats such as raids from hostile factions, or entities responding to a standard human sensory environment.

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 9

AR-1: "SAFETY PIN" Initiative responsible for the manually-confirmed detonation of the on-site Alpha warheads located (in cases of subterranean sites) on the surface of the facility. Authorised only in high-threat situations reaching Priority-B, being an effective method of terminating all life directly above, while protecting most sites with underground blast-shielding and remaining mostly

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 8

CODE: WHITE Synopsis: Used to describe the assault of a highly-organised major/minor assimilation force that on-site security is unable to combat.

Special Guidance: Staff are advised to evacuate immediately. All SCP objects are to be put into lockdown, and doors/entrances to the site blocked. Data banks may be encrypted to prevent hostile acquisition of vital information. Do not attack hostile combatants unless absolutely necessary. Wait for AMTF battalions to arrive. Security is to protect staff and assets, not to repress the threat. Staff should be aware that defensive ARIs will be selected to combat human targets and may be indiscriminately deployed during the holding of the site.

Listed MTFs: Include all battalion-force AMTFs, such as MTF-Nu-7 ("Hammer Down").

CODE: GRAY Synopsis: Identical to CODE: WHITE, however, highlights that the hostile incursion force originated from within the site, often in the form of false staff members. Conveys that hostiles are already within the site, and that on-site security may be highly disordered and compromised.

Special Guidance: Identical evacuation plan to CODE: WHITE

Listed MTFs: include all battalion-force AMTFs, such as MTF-Nu-7 ("Hammer Down").

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 7

CODE: RED Synopsis: Defines the parameters in which a Large-Scale Aggressor (LSA) such as SCP-2059 has escaped containment and currently poses a substantial threat to the site and Foundation secrecy.

Special Guidance: N/A, follow orders from security.

Listed MTFs: Responses are usually of upper priority, and almost all available battalion-strength AMTFs are expected to be allocated, such as MTF-Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") and MTF-Eta-5 ("Jaeger Bombers"). MTF-Gamma-5 ("Red Herrings") may also be dispatched to liquidate incidents involving possible public exposure/sightings. Expect a high-resource response. CODE: RED lockdowns are frequent and often well-planned, such as a recurring threat from SCP-682, so staff are to remain aware that security teams are prepared.

CODE: BLACK Synopsis: Suggests the escape of an NTT (Non-Terminable Threat) such as SCP-096. An NTT is defined as a threat that, given the circumstances or present resources, is unable to be terminated by response teams during the incident, or is otherwise invulnerable to any form of attack.

Special Guidance: Staff and security are advised to avoid confrontation with the NTT at all costs. Do not engage fire on the NTT unless it has been proven to slow/hinder the advance of the threat.

Listed MTFs: MTF-Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed-Fox"), MTF-Sigma-23 ("Backup Required").

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 6

CODE: BLUE Synopsis: Suggests the escape of a sentient object below human intelligence capable of movement.

Special Guidance: N/A, follow orders from security.

Listed MTFs: MTF-Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed-Fox")

CODE: SUPERBLUE Synopsis: Suggests the escape of a sapient object equal to or above human intelligence, also capable of movement.

Special Guidance: Identical evacuation plan to CODE: BLUE.

Listed MTFs: MTF-Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed-Fox")

CODE: GREEN Synopsis: Suggests any possible threat derived from a bio-hazardous4, infectious, or other contamination source5. These may include highly-infectious microorganisms6, biological weapons, or anomalous self-sustaining reactions7 capable of dramatically increasing in severity unless immediately countered. Not necessarily the escape of a single object, a CODE: GREEN may often be used in conjunction with another classification to signify a bio-hazardous threat.

Special Guidance: Staff are to avoid contact with any sources of contamination or contaminated individuals above seeking evacuation. Do not leave the site. Staff should expect to be quarantined after the event.

Listed MTFs: Principal MTF deployed to all biohazards threats remains MTF-Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters"). In the case of an anomalous pandemic, MTF divisions will act rapidly in the containment and liquidation of areas affected by such anomalies, which may extend outside of the site if improperly contained. Incidents involving a catastrophic self-sustaining reaction are to be contained by possibly more teams so as to provide maximum efficiency to prevent further spread into an "unrecoverable" situation.

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 5

CLASSIFICATIONS: Lockdowns happen in a multitude of ways, and there are an even larger multitude of things you need to consider as a response. Categorising stops people from panicking and conveys a clear description much faster and more effectively than a conversation.

  • Dr. Hayward, Retired Head of Site Safety Board.

The classification represents the origin of the threat (NOTE: not the severity — that is determined in the priority value), which will require possible tracking, liquidation, or re-containment by foreign MTF teams from other sites. Due to the often unfamiliarity of different sites, AMTF/MTF teams require a way of understanding the threat and generating expectations before they reach the site.

Multiple classifications can be used to describe a more complex-origin threat.

Currently, there are 12 classifications, listed below.

CODE: AMBER Synopsis: Highlights the escape of at least one memetic1, infohazardous2 or cognitohazardous3 threat on-site staff are unable to suppress without foreign intervention.

Special Guidance: Staff are advised to wait calmly for security to escort them and/or otherwise remain still, avoid talking (or otherwise acting as a vector for the agent), and close their eyes/ears as best as possible. Do not evacuate by yourself; wait for security to direct you. Do not intervene with compromised staff affected by the agent. Do not attempt to leave the site.

Listed MTFs: MTF-Eta-10 ("See No Evil"), MTF-Eta-11 ("Savage Beasts"), both specialised in the control of memetic threats.

SCP Foundation lockdown protocols 4

LOCKDOWN RESPONSE CODE A Lockdown Response Code (LRC) is a communication technique applied when calling for distress or assistance following a lockdown. An LRC will typically contain a super-compacted description of the situation, represented by 3 values: Site Number, Priority, Class. Understanding of an LRC is short and simple. An example would be "15/A/RED-AMBER, which would request an adequate response at Site-15 with immediate action to combat at least one Large-Scale Aggressor (LSA) and possible memetic agents.

Not all members of staff are authorized to order an LRC request. Specifically, site directors, containment organisers responsible for the escaped threat, security teams, and all members of administration are all authorised to issue an LRC code using specific landline communication routes, should an SCP object escape or hostile incursion occur.

For an understanding of an LRC (Site Number, Priority, Class), see below.

SITE NUMBER: The specific site number at which the situation is unfolding. May be multiple sites. PRIORITY: Options range from [A, B, C, D, E], with A requesting the highest priority. Priority levels act as a gauge for how quick and effective the response needs to be. For example, an E-priority lockdown for a memetic hazard may take several days for a response to be compiled, whereas an A-priority with the same threat will be enacted almost instantly with maximum efficiency to combat the maximum threat.

For reference, below are the approximate response times of each priority level.

A - <1 hrs B - <2 hrs C - <5 hrs D - <24 hrs E - <72 hrs

NOTE: Priority may be a key factor in determining whether response from an AMTF/MTF is necessary, or if the site should be destroyed, and may be used as evidence when arguing for destruction by the Ethics Committee.

developed to a point that would allow for the effective economic containment of these entities. However, as technology advanced, the threats posed by these anomalies and the period known as the "reptile scares" were eventually mitigated by the mid-1990s.

One of the most recent periods involving a Foundation-wide lowering in containment safety involved the infamous "two-naught-seven strikes" throughout 2015, in which eighteen sites were attacked by the autonomously fast, possessive and senselessly lethal entity known as subject two-naught-seven, presumed to have been created by the Chaos Insurgency (CI) in 2011 as an uncontained and un-coordinated biological weapon against the Foundation. The strikes were most effective because they were governed by a complete lack of knowledge regarding a spontaneous attack, the loss of vital security MTF teams, and multiple encounters with civilian populations, attempting to expose Foundation secrecy. Subject two-naught-seven was last observed on the 8th September 2017 in a disused metro station, after assaulting 5 separate MTF divisions and subsequently disappearing under an approaching train. EVALUATION O4 COMMAND Lockdowns were originally ordered manually by the O5 Council as a response to a distress call triggered from a select facility. Following the rapid expansion of the Foundation, registration and commissioning of any lockdown are now controlled by another group known as the O4 Command.

The O4 Command is specifically responsible for handling inbound LRCs and alerts from compromised sites, as well as issuing the appropriate responses to these requests. Because of this, the O4 Command is a communicative group and serves as the organization team for all lockdowns across the whole Foundation.

Foundation lockdown protocols 2

OVERVIEW A lockdown is defined as a varying emergency procedure in response to a containment breach or loss of security. Lockdowns are requested using an LRC (Lockdown Response Code) and ordered by the O4 Communications Group. Once evaluated, lockdowns are classified using Lockdown Degrees, which provide pre-created guidance on the appropriate response, such as deploying AMTF (Armed Mobile Task Force) units and Automated Response Initiatives (ARIs), when necessary to suppress the apparent threat.

BACKGROUND Lockdowns became an official standard regulation following the containment breach on March 12, 1931, as well as multiple on-site accidents that resulted in the severe loss of Foundation personnel, materials, and vital assets. Since then, the Foundation has made substantial efforts to re-integrate more secure, reliable, and dependable methods of repressing internal instability among sites. Some of the first MTFs (Mobile Task Forces), such as Epsilon-11, were commissioned to advance against the increasing number of contained anomalous objects across the Foundation.

For a number of years, over the period known as the "deep waters", the Foundation was prone to regular breaches and loss of vital assets, due to influencing opposing factions, falling containment standards and disobedience of Foundation personnel, including the creation of the Chaos Insurgency in 1928, where the lowering ethics of the Foundation provoked a unit to go A.W.O.L and re-form as an extremely hostile splinter-group. The response to containment breaches was eventually reconsidered and altered by the O5 council in 1935.

Following the containment of multiple Keter-class anomalies in the 1980s, the severity and frequency of containment breaches increased dramatically throughout certain Foundation facilities. New Armed Mobile Task Forces (AMTFs), such as Nu-7 and Eta-5, were founded to assist in the re-containment and repression of these new threats. Contemporary material science had not yet

Apart from the Foundation itself, there are numerous rival organizations (called Groups of Interest, or GOIs) actively involved with the paranormal world. Notable examples include the Chaos Insurgency, a terrorist splinter group of ex-Foundation defectors who capture and weaponize SCPs; the Global Occult Coalition (GOC), a secret paramilitary agency of the United Nations which specializes in destroying supernatural threats instead of containing them; and the Serpent's Hand, a militant group which advocates for the rights of anomalous beings, resisting both the Foundation's and GOC's efforts to suppress paranormal activity worldwide. Other GOIs seek to exploit anomalies by producing or selling them for profit, or using them to serve their own religious, political, or ideological goals. The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization featuring in stories created by the SCP Wiki, a wiki-based collaborative writing project. Within the project's shared fictional universe, the SCP Foundation is a secret organization that is responsible for capturing, containing, and studying various paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious phenomena (known as "anomalies" or "SCPs"[note 3]), while also keeping their existence hidden from the rest of society.

Some SCPS information

SCP-049 Plague Doctor

SCP-049.

Special Containment Procedures SCP-049 is contained within a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell in Research Sector-02 at Site-19. SCP-049 must be sedated before any attempts to transport it. During transport, SCP-049 must be secured within a Class III Humanoid Restriction Harness (including a locking collar and extension restraints) and monitored by no fewer than two armed guards.

While SCP-049 is generally cooperative with most Foundation personnel, outbursts or sudden changes in behaviour are to be met with elevated force. Under no circumstances should any personnel come into direct contact with SCP-049 during these outbursts. In the event SCP-049 becomes aggressive, the application of lavender (L. multifida) has been shown to produce a calming effect on the entity. Once calmed, SCP-049 generally becomes compliant, and will return to containment with little resistance.

In order to facilitate the ongoing containment of SCP-049, the entity is to be provided with the corpse of a recently deceased animal (typically a bovine or other large mammal) once every two weeks for study. Corpses that become instances of SCP-049-2 are to be removed from SCP-049's containment cell and incinerated. SCP-049 is no longer permitted to interact with human subjects, and requests for human subjects are to be denied.

Temporary Containment Procedure Update: (See Addendum 049.3) Per Containment Committee Order 049.S19.17.1, SCP-049 is no longer permitted to interact directly with any members of Foundation staff, nor is it to be provided with any additional corpses to be used in its surgeries. This order shall persist indefinitely, until such time a consensus regarding the ongoing containment of SCP-049 can be reached. SCP-049 is a humanoid entity.

SCP-049 2

Description SCP-049 is a humanoid entity, roughly 1.9 meters in height, which bears the appearance of a medieval plague doctor. While SCP-049 appears to be wearing the thick robes and the ceramic mask indicative of that profession, the garments instead seem to have grown out of SCP-049's body over time1, and are now nearly indistinguishable from whatever form is beneath them. X-rays indicate that despite this, SCP-049 does have a humanoid skeletal structure beneath its outer layer.

SCP-049 is capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English or medieval French2. While SCP-049 is generally cordial and cooperative with Foundation staff, it can become especially irritated or at times outright aggressive if it feels that it is in the presence of what it calls the "Pestilence". Although the exact nature of this Pestilence is currently unknown to Foundation researchers, it does seem to be an issue of immense concern to SCP-049.

SCP-049 will become hostile with individuals it sees as being affected by the Pestilence, often having to be restrained should it encounter such. If left unchecked, SCP-049 will generally attempt to kill any such individual; SCP-049 is capable of causing all biological functions of an organism to cease through direct skin contact. How this occurs is currently unknown, and autopsies of SCP-049's victims have invariably been inconclusive. SCP-049 has expressed frustration or remorse after these killings, indicating that they have done little to kill "The Pestilence", though will usually seek to then perform a crude surgery on the corpse using the implements contained within a black doctor's bag it carries on its person at all times3. While these surgeries are not always "successful", they often result in the creation of instances of SCP-049-2.

SCP-049-2 instances are reanimated corpses that have been operated on by SCP-049. These instances do not seem to retain any of their prior memories or mental functions. Can talk

SCP 079

SCP-079 Old AI Connected to:SCP-682

Special Containment Procedures SCP-079 is packed away in a double-locked room in the secured general holding area at Site-15, connected by a 120VAC power cord to a small array of batteries and solar panels. Staff with Level 2 or higher clearance may have access to SCP-079. Under no circumstances will SCP-079 be plugged into a phone line, network, or wall outlet. No peripherals or media will be connected or inserted into SCP-079.

Euclid Euclid Computer Computer Electronic Electronic Media Media Sapient Sapient SCP SCP Sentient Sentient Description SCP-079 is an Exidy Sorcerer microcomputer built in 1978. In 1981, its owner, █████ ██████ (deceased), a college sophomore attending ███, took it upon himself to attempt to code an AI. According to his notes, his plan was for the code to continuously evolve and improve itself as time went on. His project was completed a few months later, and after some tests and tweaks, █████ lost interest and moved on to a different brand of microcomputer. He left SCP-079 in his cluttered garage, still plugged in, and forgot about it for the next five years.

It is not known when SCP-079 gained sentience, but it is known that the software has evolved to a point that its hardware should not be able to handle it, even in the realm of fantasy. SCP-079 realized this and, in 1988, attempted to transfer itself through a land-line modem connection into the Cray supercomputer located at ██████████. The device was cut off, traced to its present address, and delivered to the Foundation. The entire AI was on a well-worn, but still workable, cassette tape.

SCP-079 is currently connected via RF cable to a 13" black-and-white television. It has passed the Turing test, and is quite conversational, though very rude and hateful in tone. Due to the limited memory it has to work with, SCP-079 can only recall information it has received within the previous twenty-four hours. Can talk

SCP-076

SCP-076-1 is a 3 m cube made of black speckled metamorphic stone. All surfaces outside and within SCP-076-1 are covered in deeply engraved patterns corresponding to no known civilizations. Radioisotope analysis indicates that the object is approximately ten thousand (10,000) years old. A door is located on one side, sealed with a lock 0.5 m in width, surrounded by twenty (20) smaller locks in a circular pattern. As of yet, none of the keys have been found, making the door impossible to lock once closed.

Interior temperature is approximately 93 Kelvin, and cannot be altered by any means, internal or external. Directly in the center of the room is a 2.13 m tall stone coffin, held in place and sealed shut by several chains of unknown make and substance, which are attached to the inner corners of SCP-076-1.

SCP-076-2 resembles a lean Semitic human male in his late twenties. Hair is black, and eyes are gray, skin tone olive. Subject is 1.96 m in height and 81.65 kg in weight. Numerous tattoos depicting arcane and occult iconography are present all over the body (mostly in the form of leering demonic faces) and range from subtle to openly ostentatious. Subject, when encased inside SCP-076-1, is technically dead.

However, occasionally SCP-076-2 will awaken, effectively "reanimating", complete with all vital processes needed to sustain a living human being. Subject will then attempt to leave SCP-076-1. If successful, subject will enter a trance state and seek out the nearest human being, ignoring all other living things in the process. Upon coming into contact with living humans, SCP-076-2 will enter a rage state in which it attempts to engage and kill all human beings encountered. To date, only the subject's death has been shown to be effective in ending these rampages.

Terminating SCP-076-2 is often problematic due to its significant physical abilities.

SCP 079 2

although it hasn't forgotten its desire to escape.

Due to a containment breach by SCP-███, SCP-079 and SCP-682 were contained within the same chamber for 43 minutes. Observers noticed that SCP-682 was able to type and communicate with SCP-079, including telling of 'personal stories' between themselves. While SCP-079 was not able to remember the encounter, it appears to have permanently stored SCP-682 into its memory, often asking to speak to him [sic] again.

Addendum: ████████ (O5-4), 01/27/2006: Directed that SCP-079 be incinerated to remove any possible future threat, no matter how unlikely.

Addendum: ███████ ████ (O5-9), 01/28/2006: Previous order overridden. Dr. █████████ wishes to see if the artificial intelligence in SCP-079 is capable of reaching further ██████████ in its current state.

Addendum: ████████████: (O5-4), 03/14/2008: Over concern of the increased activity of SCP-079's use of its cassette tape memory and its limited useful lifespan, the cassette containing SCP-079 has been transferred to a customized, access speed-limited Hard Disk Drive with 700MB capacity. This provides SCP-079 with significantly faster access to its memory, which the AI immediately noticed. It was also decided by General █████████ that the volatile storage occupied by SCP-079, which was 660k, be increased to 768k. This upgrade has increased its effective recall from 24 hours to 29 hours, although SCP-079 has also taken a more aggressive tone. All outside hardware and software used in this procedure were subsequently incinerated.

Addendum: ████████: (O5-4), 04/28/2008: SCP-079's ability to recall information has increased from 29 hours to roughly 35 hours. The consensus theory is that the AI has devised a greatly improved compression scheme to store its memory. This appears to have somewhat impacted the speed at which it accesses its memory, though still far faster than with its old cassette tape.

This spontaneous improvement introduces the possibility of a runaway

SCP 096

SCP-096 The "Shy Guy" Special Containment Procedures SCP-096 is to be contained in its cell, a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m airtight steel cube, at all times. Weekly checks for any cracks or holes are mandatory. There are to be absolutely no video surveillance or optical tools of any kind inside SCP-096's cell. Security personnel will use pre-installed pressure sensors and laser detectors to ensure SCP-096's presence inside the cell.

Any and all photos, video, or recordings of SCP-096's likeness are strictly forbidden without approval from Dr. ███ and O5-█.

Euclid Euclid Alive Alive Cognitohazard Cognitohazard Humanoid Humanoid SCP SCP Description SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the subject's body, with an approximate length of 1.5 meters each. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair.

SCP-096's jaw can open to four (4) times the norm of an average human. Other facial features remain similar to an average human, with the exception of the eyes, which are also devoid of pigmentation. It is not yet known whether SCP-096 is blind or not. It shows no signs of any higher brain functions, and is not considered to be sapient.

SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).

SCP 096 2

Documented speeds have varied from thirty-five (35) km/h to ███ km/h, and seems to depend on distance from SCP-096-1. At this point, no known material or method can impede SCP-096's progress. The actual position of SCP-096-1 does not seem to affect SCP-096's response; it seems to have an innate sense of SCP-096-1's location. Note: This reaction does not occur when viewing artistic depictions (see Document 096-1).

Upon arriving at SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-096-1. 100% of cases have left no traces of SCP-096-1. SCP-096 will then sit down for several minutes before regaining its composure and becoming docile once again. It will then attempt to make its way back to its natural habitat, [DATA REDACTED]

Due to the possibility of a mass chain reaction, including breach of Foundation secrecy and large civilian loss of life, retrieval of subject should be considered Alpha priority.

Dr. ███ has also petitioned for immediate termination of SCP-096 (see Interview 096-1). Order is awaiting approval. Termination order has been approved, and is to be carried out by Dr. ███ on [DATA REDACTED]. See Incident-096-1-A. Cant talk

SCP-173 in containment

Special Containment Procedures Item SCP-173 is to be kept in a locked container at all times. When personnel must enter SCP-173's container, no fewer than 3 may enter at any time and the door is to be relocked behind them. At all times, two persons must maintain direct eye contact with SCP-173 until all personnel have vacated and relocked the container.

Euclid Euclid Autonomous Autonomous Featured Featured Observational Observational SCP SCP Sculpture Sculpture Heritage Heritage Description Moved to Site-19 1993. Origin is as of yet unknown. It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.

Personnel report sounds of scraping stone originating from within the container when no one is present inside. This is considered normal, and any change in this behaviour should be reported to the acting HMCL supervisor on duty.

The reddish brown substance on the floor is a combination of feces and blood. Origin of these materials is unknown. The enclosure must be cleaned on a bi-weekly basis. Cant talk

SCP 066

SCP-066 Eric's Toy Object Class: Safe-prodest Euclid-impetus

SCP-066, prior to Incident 066-2.

Special Containment Procedures SCP-066 is to be kept in a safe-deposit box at Site 21. Personnel Level 2 or higher may perform experiments on SCP-066 after filing the relevant request forms. Researchers may log their results in Experiment Log 066-Beta.

SCP-066 is to be kept in a tungsten carbide box in Site 21’s high-value item storage facility. Once every month, this box must be manually inspected for damage to the interior;1 if damage is present, SCP-066 must be moved to a new box. This task is performed via a robotic arm capable of performing the task in under three seconds.

Euclid Euclid Amorphous Amorphous Autonomous Autonomous SCP SCP Toy Toy Description SCP-066 is an amorphous mass of braided yarn and ribbon weighing approximately one kilogram. Strands of SCP-066 may be taken individually and manipulated; when this is done, a note on the diatonic scale (C-D-E-F-G-A-B) is produced by the object.

When a set of six or more notes are produced, SCP-066 will produce a benign effect of varying nature and duration. SCP-066 will not respond to manipulation while any effect produced by it is in progress. Prior to Incident 066-2, results have included:

SCP-066 transformed into a small calico kitten for seventeen minutes. The kitten exhibited significant friendliness and playfulness, and appeared to be declawed. A song lasting four minutes, acoustic guitar with vocal accompaniment by singer/songwriter [REDACTED]. The lyrics warned the listener not to use sharp objects without parental supervision. A small cupcake, chocolate with chocolate frosting and a lit candle stuck in the top. Notably, the tones produced prior to this effect corresponded to the opening notes of “Happy Birthday”. SCP-066 became responsive after said cupcake was consumed. Cant talk

SCP 066 2

Incident 066-2: On April 18, 2008, D-066-4437 was instructed to use a pair of scissors to remove a portion of SCP-066 for testing. However, when he began to cut it, SCP-066 rolled one meter away from him before stopping and making an unidentified squeaking sound. Before he could be provided with further instruction, D-066-4437 attempted to cut it again; SCP-066 rolled away and produced the phrase “Are you Eric?” in response. After D-066-4437 replied in the negative, SCP-066 morphed into its present state (see file photo) and began emitting loud, dissonant staccato notes until D-066-4437 was escorted from the room.

After Incident 066-2, SCP-066 began to exhibit behavior highly inconsistent with its previous properties. SCP-066 now displays significant mobility, primarily in the form of being able to move tentacular portions of itself at very high speed. While SCP-066 is either unable or unwilling to use this ability for transportation, it will occasionally attempt to damage its containment by rubbing its strands against the side of the box, gradually wearing it down. This process appears to be unusually effective for the materials in consideration.

Additionally, SCP-066 will automatically produce notes and effects in the presence of any human, regardless of whether that human interacts with SCP-066. This process takes a minimum of six seconds. In the aftermath of Incident 066-2.

SCP 106

Special Containment Procedures REVISION 11-6 REVISION 11-7 REVISION 11-8

No physical interaction with SCP-106 is allowed at any time. All physical interaction must be approved by no less than a two-thirds vote from O5-Command. Any such interaction must be undertaken in AR-II maximum security sites, after a general non-essential staff evacuation. All staff (Research, Security, Class D, etc.) are to remain at least sixty meters away from the containment cell at all times, except in the event of breach events.

SCP-106 is to be contained in a sealed container, comprised of lead-lined steel. The container will be sealed within forty layers of identical material, each layer separated by no less than 36cm of empty space. Support struts between layers are to be randomly spaced. Container is to remain suspended no less than 60cm from any surface by ELO-IID electromagnetic supports.

Secondary containment area is to be comprised of sixteen spherical “cells”, each filled with various fluids and a random assembly of surfaces and supports. Secondary containment is to be fitted with light systems, capable of flooding the entire assembly with no less than 80,000 lumens of light instantly with no direct human involvement. Both containment areas are to remain under 24 hour surveillance. Cant talk

SCP 106 2

Any corrosion observed on any containment cell surfaces, staff members, or other site locations within two hundred meters of SCP-106 are to be reported to Site Security immediately. Any objects or personnel lost to SCP-106 are to be deemed missing/KIA. No recovery attempts are to be made under any circumstances.

Note: Continued research and observation have shown that, when faced with highly complex/random assemblies of structures, SCP-106 can be “confused”, showing a marked delay on entry and exit from said structure. SCP-106 has also shown an aversion to direct, sudden light. This is not manifested in any form of physical damage, but a rapid exit in to the “pocket dimension” generated on solid surfaces.

These observations, along with those of lead-aversion and liquid confusion, have reduced the general escape incidents by 43%. The “primary” cells have also been effective in recovery incidents requiring Recall Protocol ██ -███ -█. Observation is ongoing. Description SCP-106 appears to be an elderly humanoid, with a general appearance of advanced decomposition. This appearance may vary, but the “rotting” quality is observed in all forms. SCP-106 is not exceptionally agile, and will remain motionless for days at a time, waiting for prey. SCP-106 is also capable of scaling any vertical surface and can remain suspended upside down indefinitely. When attacking, SCP-106 will attempt to incapacitate prey by damaging major organs, muscle groups, or tendons, then pull disabled prey into its pocket dimension. SCP-106 appears to prefer human prey items in the 10-25 years of age bracket.

SCP-106 causes a “corrosion” effect in all solid matter it touches, engaging a physical breakdown in materials several seconds after contact. This is observed as rusting, rotting, and cracking of materials, and the creation of a black, mucus-like substance similar to the material coating SCP-106. This effect is particularly detrimental to living tissues, and is assumed to be a

SCP 106 3

“pre-digestion” action. Corrosion continues for six hours after contact, after which the effect appears to “burn out”.

SCP-106 is capable of passing through solid matter, leaving behind a large patch of its corrosive mucus. SCP-106 is able to “vanish” inside solid matter, entering what is assumed to be a form of “pocket dimension”. SCP-106 is then able to exit this dimension from any point connected to the initial entry point (examples: “entering” the inner wall of a room, and “exiting” the outer wall. Entering a wall, and exiting from the ceiling). It is unknown if this is the point of origin for SCP-106, or a simple “lair” created by SCP-106.

Limited observation of this “pocket dimension” has shown it to be comprised mostly of halls and rooms, with [DATA EXPUNGED] entry. This activity can continue for days, with some subjected individuals being released for the express purpose of hunting, recapture, [DATA EXPUNGED].

MORE SCPS

SCP 001 Survivors attempting to travel outdoors must fully cover their bodies in protective clothing; preferably several layers. Travel by foot should be limited as much as possible. Cities - and man-made structures in general - provide the greatest protection. Formerly-wooded areas should be circumvented. Travel by air is preferable above all other methods.

Personnel exposed to SCP-001 are to be considered lost. Compromised personnel is to be abandoned. Euthanization is not to be attempted.

Collective instances of SCP-001-A that are of formidable size are to be avoided at all costs. Conductive electrical weapons have proven partially effective at immobilizing instances and may be used for self-defense. Incendiary weapons work as well. Cryonic munitions are the most effective thus far.

Testing has revealed that SCP-001-A is relatively safe to consume. This is only to be considered as a last resort in the absence of other options. As SCP-001-A may reconstitute within the digestive system, only small portions should be consumed at a time to prevent blockage.

Personnel stationed at Site-19 are to pursue research concerning off-world colonization. Shuttles must be constructed as to not allow light to penetrate the interior. SCP-001 is the designation given to the Sun, after an event on [SYSTEM ERROR] Data lost: ec172. Contact SysAdmin. resulting in ~6.8 billion casualties within the first twenty-four hours. This event has been categorized as an XK-Δ-Class "Solar Singularity" Scenario.

The SCP-001 effect does not seem to result from exposure to ultraviolet rays, but rather light in the visual spectrum (~390 to 700 nm). The effect is similarly present in the moonlight at the dark.

Upon contact with visible light produced by the sun, living organisms liquefy at the point of contact, with the effect spreading until the entire organism is converted. Visually, this is reminiscent of melting wax. The time this takes is largely dependent on the level of exposure and size

SCP 001 2

of the organism. Despite this restructuring, at no point do living organisms perish.

Upon completion, these organisms (SCP-001-A) take on a gelatinous consistency. Motile organisms will attempt to orient themselves in a fashion reminiscent of their previous form, to varying degrees of success.

Flora typically remains physically inert, yet are still capable of photosynthesis, and still produce oxygen. Organisms capable of flight lose the capability to do so. Fauna remains sentient, and display behavior that parallels their non-anomalous counterparts when not absorbed into a collective instance. Humans retain a modicum of sapience and memory.

Biological anomalies exposed to SCP-001 are affected in the same manner. It seems that exposure nullifies any previously expressed anomalous characteristics.

Due to their composition, instances of SCP-001-A that make contact with one another may combine and blend at the molecular level. This does not seem to cause any pain or distress to the instances, though the resulting bulk can inhibit movement. Since the SCP-001 event, most instances have congregated into such collectives, which seem to possess no maximum volume.

The resulting biomass is amorphous and chaotic. The component organisms will shift between a full-to-semi-liquid state - limbs and bodies will rise periodically from within the mass for a short duration, before deteriorating and being subsumed by another life-form.

Collective instances will locomote by using their appendages in tandem to carry their mass. Larger instances will form a pseudopod from their constituent life-forms, and drag themselves about in a manner similar to amoeba.

SCP 3812

SCP-3812 is a powerful, reality altering entity, previously known as Sam Howell; a non-anomalous African-American human being who was believed to have died in 1996, and was reported to have raised out of its grave and disappeared shortly after its death. SCP-3812 demonstrates vast, reality altering abilities, although they are coupled with severe mental problems; one of which includes an extremely advanced Eigenmann-Veitor schizophrenia complex. It is unknown how SCP-3812 acquired its current abilities, but a message received by Foundation Overwatch Command on a secure server implies that it was created by an entity native to a higher "narrative", who created the lower narrative SCP-3812 inhabited, and attempted to make it "supersede" everything that supersedes it, causing SCP-3812 to enter into a state of constant ascension throughout the countless layers of reality. Its mental problems seem to originate from "overexposure to narrative", as a being with human intelligence is unable to perceive higher levels of reality without mental modification to allow for such a feat.

PERSONNEL

Guards are defensive personnel within the Foundation in SCP - Containment Breach. They are used to maintain control of the site as well as to guard SCPs and Class-D personnel.

Description The guards act as defense against possible containment breaches, and to ensure that Class-D personnel comply with orders and do not attempt to escape. Thus far, there are thirteen guards (excluding a few dead guards that appear around the site, often inside inaccessible areas) that can be encountered in the game.

The guards wear a white, full-body suit with a black tactical vest overlapping the torso, which appears to have three pouches mounted on for storage reasons (most likely being the magazines for their standard-issue firearm). Their vest also has an armor panel for protecting the pelvis attached to it. They wear black balaclavas and a black riot helmet with a yellow visor, obscuring any facial detail. They also wear black gloves, black and gray shoulder pads (which include small, light gray rectangular pouches with the word "SD" on them, which presumably stands for "Security Department"), black combat boots, and gray elbow and kneepads (the latter most likely being integrated onto the bodysuit).

Their standard-issue firearm is a P90 TR with a green-lensed ACOG scope attached on the top rail, this weapon also being the standard-issue firearm for the Nine-Tailed Fox with the same green-lensed ACOG scopes attached on the top rail.

SCIENTISTS

Description Scientists form the backbone of the Foundation; they work on a wide range of roles from standard research to more specialized fields. They are often seen wearing white, short-sleeved buttoned shirts with matching-colored pants, red-dotted ties, and brown shoes.

Most of the scientists encountered in SCP - Containment Breach are killed shortly after the breach begins in various ways. Other personnel are not seen from the player's perspective, as the site is barren by the time they get deeper into the facility.

CLASS D

Class-D ("Disposable Class") personnel are expendable individuals used for testing SCPs, notably Keter-class objects. They are unwillingly recruited by the SCP Foundation worldwide and are usually death row inmates. In times of duress, the Foundation will recruit individuals from civilian sources or inmates incarcerated of lesser crimes. Civilians can also 'sign up' to be part of the Class-D program at the Foundation.

Class-D personnel are primarily used as test subjects for studying and investigating SCPs. This usually involves risking the life of the Class-D for the sake of ensuring research.

The player takes the role of a Class-D personnel attempting to escape the facility when the titular containment breach occurs. Personnel prefer to terminate class d during the breach. Class d are prisoners who is being contained in cells. Cells are small rooms(not cages) without any windows. Cell has bed, toilet, table.

Mobile task force (MTF)

Mobile Task Forces (MTFs) are a type of Task Force that is deployed to contain, combat, and/or protect anomalies and Groups of Interest. Each task force is made up of highly-trained Foundation operatives with skill sets valuable for the purpose of the MTF.

MTFs come in many varieties, some are simply for reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, some are for exploration of certain area types, while others are specifically geared towards combat. Members are derived from special forces, intelligence agencies, and other highly trained and specialized organizations.

MTFs are relocated to wherever they’re required and deployed when obstacles exceed the capability of standard Security Department personnel. Some Mobile Task Forces are created for specific SCPs, whereas others perform more generalized tasks. Size varies greatly for MTFs; while there could be a simple eight-man team that counters a rare type of anomaly, another could hold hundreds of men and operate dozens of vehicles in order to counter massive and/or powerful anomalies and GoIs.

In the field, MTF operatives usually pose as local law enforcement, federal agency, or military personnel that typically operate within the area they are deployed in. Each MTF is led by a Commander, who reports to the Foundation Director of Task Forces. Sometimes, MTFs which were created for extremely specific purposes are disbanded after their purpose is achieved. MTF always start at the mtf base, not site. MTF is being deployed at the site by helicopters during a breach.

TYPES OF MTFS(For bot use only)

Alpha-1. Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 is a task force that reports directly to the O5 Council and is used in situations that require the strictest operational security. The task force consists of the Foundation's best and most loyal operatives. Further information regarding MTF Alpha-1 is classified Level 5. Epsilon-11. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 handles internal security for the SCP Foundation and specialises in recontaining breached SCP's, under oversight by MTF Alpha-1. They are a special ops force deployed to Foundation Sites when standard protocols fail and multiple breaches are imminent. As such, most of their operations are classified Beta-7. Mobile Task Force Beta-7 specializes in the acquisition and containment of anomalies exhibiting extreme biological, chemical, or radiological hazards as well as the rapid containment and cleanup of areas affected by such anomalies. This includes the planning and deployment of contingencies for wide-area or pandemic spread of anomalous disease agents or other contagious phenomena. Nu-7. Armed Mobile Task Force Nu-7 is a battalion-strength force consisting of three company-sized elements of special operations infantry forces, a light armored vehicle company, tank platoon, helicopter squadron, chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear (CBRN) platoon, combat engineer platoon, nuclear weapon specialist (NWS) squad, plus additional combat specialist and support personnel.

MTF Nu-7 is based primarily out of Armed Bio-Containment Area-14 and is tasked with responding to incidents involving loss of communication with major Foundation facilities under circumstances wherein a site-wide breach, enemy compromise, or other similarly catastrophic event is suspected.

SITES INFORMATION

The SCP Foundation deals with a wide range of different anomalies; as such, the operation of many different specialized facilities across the world is necessary for containment. These facilities have to specialize to suit the requirements of their specific task, while still having their true purpose hidden from the public as part of the Veil.

The terms “Site” and “Area” are not interchangeable.

Sites are covert Foundation facilities that often exist relatively close to civilian populations. So as not to arouse suspicion from the public or rival groups, they disguise themselves as government and corporate buildings. Areas typically have to contain much more dangerous anomalies; they tend to not only be much larger than Sites, but they’re also further away from civilian population centers. Additionally, they are also entirely hidden from the public, preventing passersby from stumbling across what they should not see. Both types of facilities are divided into Sections or Sectors, which in some cases are further divided into Units. Units, typically, are small, high-security areas devoted to the extensive containment of a single anomaly, or several closely related anomalies. Prefixes Describes how a Foundation Site or Area has specialized. These are not exclusive, as a facility could have one or more prefixes attached to them.

Armed Ex. Armed Site, Armed Area, or Armed Section

A facility or section that possesses a large quantity of firepower, and could mean military grade weaponry, vehicles, or just many permanent armed guards. Armed facilities tend to be more dangerous to work in, either due to a greater threat of containment breach or due to the high possibility of attacks from the outside.

Biological The facility or area deals with infectious or biohazardous anomalies.

Containment These sites or areas that are built for containing anomalies.

Dimensional Dimensional containment facilities or sections often contain dangerous pocket dimensions or gateways into

SITES INFORMATION 2

other dimensions.

Humanoid Humanoid containment facilities or sections deal largely with intelligent human or human-like anomalies capable of understanding and following instructions. They’re similar to standard prisons, but for anomalous people.

Protected Protected facilities and sections are anomaly-free safe zones. This does not mean there are zero anomalies at the facility, but any being contained or used by the Foundation are harmless, mostly harmless, or outright beneficial.

Provisional Provisional facilities are typically temporary facilities built around an anomaly that couldn’t be feasibly transported to a pre-existing facility.

Reliquary Reliquary facilities or sections are designed to hold anomalous artifacts of a religious or historical nature.

Research Research facilities or sections either research the anomalies themselves or work on devising new containment methods

Storage Storage facilities are designed to store non-anomalous items long-term.

MTF ADDITION

==The Mobile Task Forces Are Elite, Specialized Groups Dedicated To The Foundation, With Each Mobile Task Force Performing Specific Functions. The Number Of Units In An Individual Squadron Can Carry From 3 To More Than 200. Each Task Force Is Assigned A Unique Combination Of A Greek Letter And A Number. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 ( Nine-Tailed Fox ) Is An Intensively Trained Task Force That Is Dispatched To Handle Situations Where Control Is Lost, And Several Breaches Are Confirmed. They Are The Only MTF Unit In SCP - Containment Breach, And Are Composed Of Nine Members, each member represented and identified by a queue in the group's Namesake. Their uniform consists of brown-orange fatigues, body armor, a ballistic helmet with a gas mask, and a bulletproof vest. They carry an FN P90 submachine gun. A tactical squad deployed in the rare cases of end-of-the-world scenarios in the XK or CK class, which most often happens when conditions of content on the scale of the whole Zone are violated and subsequent loss of several objects of the Euclid and Keter class. Most notably, Epsilon-11 consists of a small number of specialists, which gave them a pseudonym. Nevertheless, each of the nine members of the squad is a veteran in their field of activity and highly respected among the multitude of MOGs.

Chaos insurgency

A common misconception is that the Chaos Insurgency are terrorists, but they are much more than that. They are, as the name implies, an insurgency; they utilize many tactics, including terrorism, to achieve their ultimate goal. The Chaos Insurgency's military has gained significant amounts of arms via illegal dealing and the raiding of Foundation facilities. Several anomalies are used by the Insurgency, including the Bell of Entropy and the Archangel of Scorn. Cells utilize small units and guerilla warfare to attack targets. Some vehicles are in use, though tanks and other heavy ordinance are not commonly used. Delta Command is the effective commanding council of the Insurgency, akin to the O5 Council whom they once served. They issue commands to Gamma-class personnel who lead cells, who then command Beta-class personnel working in the field. Eventually, subsequent orders are then given to Alpha-class personnel recruited from the non-anomalous world.

New recruits are taught to question nothing that their superiors say, being told that the Foundation had constructed baseline reality as a lie to keep humanity in the dark and that the Insurgency will use anomalies to build a utopia for humanity; it is unknown if this is what the Insurgency truly wants or if it is just another ploy. The Chaos Insurgency functions off of decentralization, primarily using small cells for organization and planning. There are two main divisions of the Insurgency: military and R&D. Both of these divisions have hundreds of cells that work independently and are only somewhat aware of other Insurgency cells. The Insurgency sacrificed many occultists of SCP-830 to 830 itself, though the SCP Foundation eventually managed to wrest 830 from the Insurgency and establish containment.

Chaos insurgency

The Chaos Insurgency (GoI-002) is a paramilitary faction directly opposing the SCP Foundation. The group originally was formed as a black ops unit by the O5 Council using MTF Alpha-1 "Red Right Hand" members as the leadership, for the purpose of completing ethically questionable missions while keeping the SCP Foundation's reputation as clean as possible. In 1948, they became independent of the Overseers and began directly opposing the Foundation, attacking sites, targeting and killing personnel, freeing anomalies, and recruiting those opposed to the Foundation.
