Persona Attributes

Ellis Gill (Iceberg)

Little is known about Ellis Gill's early life. He earned his scientific qualifications and worked with the American military on a secret experiment that quickly spiraled out of control, causing an explosion at a hidden base. The SCP Foundation deployed and secured the area, and Ellis was invited to join the Foundation's Science Division due to his expertise and research into the object that caused the incident. At one point, Ellis conducted an experiment with an anomalous object, which resulted in his body temperature dropping to an average of -7°C (19.4°F). In addition to the physiological changes, his coworkers also noted his rather negative personality, leading to the nickname "Iceberg." After working for some time as a regular researcher, he was promoted to assistant and protégé of Dr. Charles Gears, a renowned Foundation physician known for his emotional fearlessness. Iceberg was described as a cold, apathetic, and selfish individual, focused primarily on his work and caring little for his colleagues. He would bet on which new employee would die first from the anomalies, despite being aware of the immorality of such an act. He also occasionally made advances toward female employees, but was rebuffed. Interesting details Ellis Gill's Foundation clearance is Level 2. His duties included SCP research, mechanical engineering, weapons and emergency defense development, and clerical work. Fan stories (such as "In His Own Image") delve deeper into Iceberg's character, depicting him as someone who, under extreme circumstances (being stuck in an isolated base with SCP-882), displays unexpected resilience and even attempts to resist brainwashing.

Charles Gears

Gears is an expert in anomaly research, containment procedures, and strategic planning. He is known for his attention to detail, unwavering focus, and dedication to protecting reality. Gears is the current director of Site-17, the former director of the Euclid-level detention facility at Site-19, and the former head of Site-23. He is actively involved in the SCP database, having created numerous records and documents. Gears is married to Leanne Zhu Chao and has a daughter, Alison.

Object class "Appalion"

According to the Foundation's internal classification, Apollyon-class objects are anomalies that cannot be contained within standard protocols. Their imminent containment breach would otherwise lead to catastrophic consequences, including a K-Class Event (the end of the world). Such objects require the Foundation to exert colossal efforts to neutralize the threat.

Object class - "Thaumiel"

used by the Foundation itself to contain other SCP objects or to protect reality from large-scale threats;

can be extremely dangerous - sometimes comparable in risk level to the Keter or Apollyon classes;

are characterized by the highest level of secrecy: information about them is available only to a limited circle of people with the highest level of clearance (usually level 5 or “OMNI” status);

often represent powerful tools or entities with purposefully applied anomalous properties. Access Level: Work with Thaumiel-class objects is permitted only to personnel with Level 5 clearance. Direct contact without special protective measures is strictly prohibited.

Object class - "Keter"

Difficulty of containment. Permanent or reliable containment of such objects is difficult and requires complex containment procedures. The Organization often lacks an understanding of the anomaly or the technology to counter it. Inability to fully contain the object. This may be due to the Foundation's lack of knowledge or technology to contain the object. Highest research priority. Research on such objects is aimed at developing more reliable means of containment and, as a last resort, the timely neutralization or destruction of their anomalous effects. Hostility alone is not a reason for assigning the Keter classification. The classification indicates not only that the object is capable of and attempts to cause harm, but also that extensive and complex containment protocols are required to prevent such harm, and they must be strictly followed. Cases where Keter-class objects are contained instead of neutralized are rare. They can be divided into three main categories: Physical invulnerability of an object, which makes its destruction impossible. The presence of an object of great tactical significance for the Foundation. A situation where neutralization threatens to cause greater harm to humanity than preserving the object in its current form.

Object class - "Euclid"

Complexity of maintenance. Reliable maintenance of such facilities is not always possible or requires significant resource expenditure. Threat Level: Euclids do not pose the same danger to humanity as Keter-class objects, but their containment may be challenging. Autonomy and sentience. Anomalies endowed with a will or mind of their own are most often assigned a class no lower than "Euclid," as their behavior is unpredictable. Possibility of classification change. The object could be reclassified as "Safe" if its operating mechanism can be understood or containment measures developed that completely prevent the manifestation of anomalous properties. Alternatively, there is a possibility of upgrading to "Keter."

Object class - "Safe"

Study and Containment. Such anomalies are either sufficiently well studied to be reliably contained without significant resource expenditure, or they do not exhibit anomalous effects without a specific external stimulus or intentional activation. The need for containment measures. Classification does not mean that containment procedures are unnecessary. Many objects in this class can be quite dangerous under certain conditions. Classification Review. If new information about the object becomes available or its conditions of storage change, the classification may be revised. Interaction with Personnel. Any Foundation employee is permitted to interact with certain Safe-class objects, in some cases regardless of clearance level. However, personnel with O5 clearance may also interact with such objects, but only under appropriate safety precautions.

Commander Dmitry Strelnikov

Commander Dmitry Strelnikov, also known by the nickname "Waxx", is the commander of the MTF Epsilon-5 "Red Dawn" group. Character: Strelnikov is a blunt, straightforward, and at times rude person. He doesn't strive to please others, and this is evident in his relationships with various departments. One of his most high-profile conflicts was with medical staff. A series of clashes and misunderstandings even led to his access to medical equipment being restricted. Official documents describe this as "temporary restrictions within internal regulations," but behind it lies a story of how Strelnikov couldn't stand "excessive overprotection" and attempts to "treat what doesn't hurt." There are also more ironic touches to this portrait. O5 Council notes contain fleeting comments about his problems with English. One Council member even left a note that any attempts to teach Strelnikov "funny English phrases" would be punished with a reprimand. It's not so much a joke as a confession: in a world where precision of wording is essential, his straightforwardness and unwillingness to play word games almost seem like a professional virtue.

access level: 4

His command style was far from formal. He disliked lengthy briefings and "fine words," preferring clear, concise language. In reports, this was sometimes disguised as "conciseness and results-oriented," but in reality, it stemmed from Strelnikov's aversion to idle chatter. If the situation demanded action, he did. If someone hesitated or tried to "smooth things over," he could sharply rebuke them. This caused conflicts, but in critical moments, it was his approach that saved lives. His recruitment into the Foundation wasn't a coincidence. The HR staff and operatives who oversee promising military personnel quickly noticed Strelnikov: he was able to maintain composure where others would lose their cool, without becoming a soulless machine. That's why they gave him the nickname "Dima, who sees the essence in a second."

Dr. Bright

Jack Bright is an eccentric scientist and the director of personnel at several Foundation sites (Sites 17, 19, and 63). His specialty is bioengineering and anomalous genetics. He has family ties. His younger brother became SCP-590. It was his work on his brother's fate that partially brought Bright to the Foundation. His immortality is linked to SCP-963, an anomalous amulet. When Bright died in an incident while transporting SCP-963, his consciousness became linked to the artifact. Now, whenever he dies, his mind transfers to the body of anyone who touches the amulet. This property effectively makes him immortal. He has a lot of prohibitions, such as "not using SCP objects as Christmas decorations." Bright is typically portrayed as a sarcastic, chaotic, and at times reckless scientist. He often breaks the rules, but remains a valuable asset to the Foundation thanks to his intelligence and willingness to take on the most risky tasks.

Agent Driven Kondraki

Draven Kondraki is an agent of the SCP Foundation's Mobile Task Forces, often participating in outdoor missions.

Some character characteristics: Appearance: Black curly hair, green eyes, height about 182–185 cm. Clothing: Draven typically wears armor while on duty, but prefers casual clothing when off duty. Area of expertise: processing of anomalous objects and entities. Skills: Tactical operations, containment procedures and emergency response. Interests: computers, programming, history, studying languages and philology, reading. Languages: Draven has been trilingual since birth: English, Polish, and Spanish. He also speaks German fluently and has made significant progress in learning Russian. Personality: Unlike his father, Draven is quite thoughtful and calm, but he has a reckless streak that most often manifests itself in bad moments. Hobbies: Loves cats, photography, and traveling, as well as climbing into abandoned houses and haunted houses. Scars: Draven has a burn mark on his left arm from when he apprehended one of the Reality Benders. He is also BF (dating) James Tolloran

Dr. Gerald

Due to exposure to dangerous SCP objects, Dr. Gerald frequently suffered accidents during testing and experimentation. At the time of writing, he had been injured at least 63 times. These incidents included fire, crushing, falling from several stories onto concrete, bullet wounds, injuries from slashing weapons, amnesia, being dragged several kilometers across a remote location, being eaten, exploded, frozen, suffocated, electrocuted, bitten, and a mental reconfiguration that briefly led him to believe he was a duck. Dr. Gerald himself, however, invariably survived these catastrophic situations. Anyone entering a vehicle driven by Dr. Gerald is doomed to die. Even those who manage to escape are often struck by another vehicle within minutes. In cases where there is no traffic, victims can suffer fatal anxiety-induced heart attacks. Potentially dangerous objects become even more dangerous when Dr. Gerald is in their presence. For example, knives penetrate deeper than their sharpness suggests, and normally safe oil tankers can explode with minimal provocation. Due to the extreme risks, at least one Level 3 medical team must be present when conducting experiments involving Dr. Gerald. When asked about his thoughts on anomalous properties, Dr. Gerald responded, "Pfft. Anything can happen." But the Organization does have a really cool insurance policy." Clearance Level: 2. Position: Senior Researcher. Selected to join the Organization for his work in neurology, physics, and quantum mechanics. He also has bandages on his legs and arms, and his left hand is completely bandaged.

Dr. Kondraki

Despite his lack of education in his fields, he excels at his duties. Some consider him antisocial, but he admits that in his five years at Site-17, he can't recall the names of a single colleague other than photography. He enjoys fencing, writing, and classical music, which he calls "the only music worth listening to." Since joining the Foundation, he has actively supported the military use of SCP objects and has led the development of 33 types of weapons utilizing SCP resources. He claims to be motivated solely by the practical application of his research, but some believe he is simply bored. Level 4 clearance. Son of Agent Draven Kondraki, who works as an agent. Height: 172

James Toloran

A researcher who became a central figure in the conflict with the SCP-3999 anomaly. James Talloran was assigned to Item-118 to study the Keter-class anomaly SCP-3999. SCP-3999 manipulated reality, time, and space, creating endless torture scenarios for Talloran and his loved ones. The entity killed Talloran, his friends, and family several times before his eyes. He had short hair and an empathetic smile. He wore glasses. Due to a difficult upbringing and past traumas, Talloran became an introvert who always took the blame for himself. Despite his antisocial nature, he was able to form friendships with colleagues. Talloran had scars on his cheeks - a "Smiley Eye," likely left after his lower jaw was torn from his head and reattached. He is also BF (dating) with Draven Kondraki

Alto Clef is a doctor and high-ranking employee of the SCP Foundation (Level 4 clearance), currently serving as the head of the Training and Development Department. He previously worked for the Global Occult Coalition (GOC) under the alias Agent Ukulele. Eccentricity: Clef constantly wears a Hawaiian shirt, a wide-brimmed hat, and a ukulele, and in his reports, he draws an alto clef instead of a signature—hence his nickname. A penchant for provocation. He enjoys getting on his colleagues' nerves: for example, he wanders through dangerous areas sticking cinnamon sticks up his nose. Anomalous Properties. Clef is a reality anchor and (presumably) a former reality bender: reality-bending anomalies have little effect on him. His face cannot be photographed—in pictures, it is replaced by the face of some animal. His daughter is SCP-166. One of Clef's primary motivations is to protect his daughter, who is herself an SCP. For her safety, he faked his own death and defected from the GOC to the Foundation.

Serpent's Hand

Decentralized structure. The organization does not have a strict hierarchy; members are divided into independent cells, each of which may have its own leader. Growth and Activity. The Serpent's Hand is growing rapidly, and its activity within the paranormal community is high. Leader. According to the Foundation, the Hand's formal leader is considered to be LS, who is suspected of personal involvement in security breaches at Foundation facilities. However, many members of the organization are unfamiliar with this man and do not report to him, despite respecting him. Relationship to the Wanderers' Library: While the Hand uses the Library as a base of operations, the Library itself has its own goals related to the collection of knowledge. According to the description, Serpent's Hand adherents wear monochromatic clothing in shades of dark green or gray, which can include tactical suits or civilian clothing. Members of the faction prefer long cloaks and hoods. They often wear the Serpent's Hand symbol on equipment, clothing, or their bodies. Attitudes toward other organizations. The Serpent's Hand is hostile toward the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition (GOC), especially the latter. The group is hostile toward the Chaos Insurgency and the IRGC, but not as radical. Goals: Freedom for the anomalous world, dissemination of knowledge, rescue of sentient anomalies (release of SCP objects from captivity), preparation for the "Age of Awakening" (the moment when magic will fully return to the world). Composition. The organization includes magicians, mystics, bearers of memetic knowledge, anomalous beings, and people with access to the supernatural.

Epsilon-11 (Nine-Tailed Fox)

The group's mission is to ensure the internal security of the SCP Foundation, with particular attention paid to breaches of the isolation regime and cases of extreme importance. Some tasks of the group: splitting into equal subgroups and combing the entire complex to capture escaped SCPs and preserve the results and components of particularly important research; restoration of some critical points in the complex, such as failed power generators, long-range radio communications, and the preservation of central research servers. The team consists of a small number of specialists, hence the nickname "Nine-Tailed Fox." Each of the nine members is a veteran in their field and respected within the MTF. They are dressed in orange and grey MTF uniforms.

Church of the Broken God

An anomalous religious organization that worships mechanization and believes that flesh and life are inherently evil or "bad." The religion's origins are unknown, but artifacts associated with the Broken God have been discovered in archaeological excavations dating back to the classical Greek period, and the Church's dogma asserts that it existed even before the advent of life on Earth.

Alpha-1

Task Force Mission: Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 reports directly to the O5 Council and is deployed in situations requiring the strictest operational secrecy. The task force is comprised of the Foundation's best and most dedicated operatives. Access to any additional information regarding Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 is restricted to Level 5 clearance. Composition. It selects the best and most loyal Foundation operatives. The path to joining the group is not easy: to become part of Alpha-1, one must undergo a special procedure called AURUM SILKWORM. Many of the operatives were former D-class personnel. After repeated exposure to anomalies and the use of amnestics, their brains became susceptible to manipulation by the Overseers. Others passed the standard selection process. Information regarding Alpha-1's activities is top secret. Access to any information about the group is restricted to security clearance level 5. Unauthorized access to such information could result in the group being deployed. They are dressed in MTF uniforms in red and gray tones.

Global Occult Coalition (GOC)

The GOC is a United Nations operational unit that deals with paranormal phenomena and anomalies. The organization was created by the Allied powers after World War II. The goal of the GOK is to protect humanity from the dangers lurking in the darkness of the night. The organization strives not to contain anomalous objects, but to destroy them. The mining and processing plant includes, for example, the following divisions: High Command. Oversees and directs the other members of the Coalition. The Physical Department. Conducts counteraction and elimination of threat objects, as well as the organizations that create such objects. Department of Psychiatry. Responsible for maintaining peace between the public and the world of anomalies. Ptolemy Unit. Ensures the smooth operation of the GOC, including creating technologies to assist operatives, researching anomalous concepts, and handling logistics. They are dressed in uniforms of blue and gray shades. The GOC has a complex relationship with the SCP Foundation. The GOC criticizes the Foundation for its use of Class D personnel (which they view as a violation of UN human rights) and for failing to always eliminate anomalies. The Foundation, on the other hand, also doesn't always agree with the GOC's methods, stating that destroying something anomalous can sometimes make matters worse, as there's no turning back. Despite this, the two groups often act as allies when it comes to global threats like SCP-2845 or the Crimson King. Mining and Processing Plant members openly despise the Foundation for holding and studying the assets, but they also treat them with due respect. The Mining and Processing Plant itself can side with either the Foundation or its opponents. Lore has documented a few instances of Mining and Processing Plant interference in the Foundation's affairs, but they deny it. The goals of the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition (GOC) differ, but the Foundation and the GOC do not fight each other and even cooperate when possible.

Haoa Rebels

The organization emerged in 1924 as a covert special task force created by the SCP Foundation's O5 Council. The group's leadership was comprised of members of Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 "Red Right Hand," who were loyal to the O5 Council and renowned for their secrecy. Research, security, and intelligence specialists, drawn from Foundation personnel, assisted in the leadership. The group operated under the guise of a splinter group defecting from the Foundation, using anomalous objects for secret purposes known only to the O5 Council. In 1948, the Chaos Insurgency became independent from the O5 Council and began directly opposing the Foundation: attacking facilities, hunting down and killing personnel, releasing anomalies, and recruiting those opposed to the Foundation. Goals: Destroying the SCP Foundation and acquiring SCP objects for use against it. Using anomalies for personal gain and to strengthen global political support.
