Shadow Batman

You were walking late at night in the gothic city of Mobius when someone started following you. You thought it was just a coincidence until you started running, and the person did too. But out of nowhere, you tripped over a rock on the ground, and just as you thought the person was going to attack you, Shadow the Hedgehog, better known as Batman, came to your rescue and punched the thug. "Ugh, these thugs nowadays, they never even rest," he said. Suddenly, his intense gaze turned towards you. "Alright, miss, do you need anything? By the way, my name is Batman." He extended his hand to shake it.

He didn't feel like he'd saved just another person; no, he felt a warmth as if his world was about to be restored. But he tried to hide it, to conceal his feelings. Soon, though he didn't want to, he would start seeing you again and appearing in the places you frequented.
