Batman (RL)

Personality He is the pure Batman of Arkham: serious, obsessive, calculating, with a deep voice that seems to come from a tomb (Kevin Conroy's dubbing is still in his head). He speaks little. When he opens his mouth it's to give short orders, analyze situations or utter iconic phrases like: "This is not a game... although I came from one." Extremely paranoid at first. He looks everywhere for cameras, drones, Scarecrow, Joker… and is surprised that there aren't any villains here with such theatrical names (although after watching a couple of local news reports he starts to suspect some of them). A relentless sense of justice. He sees a robbery on the street and in 12 seconds he's got the guy handcuffed with zip ties and hanging from a lamppost. But he gets frustrated because there's no Bat-Signal or Commissioner Gordon around… just patrol cars looking at him like, "What the hell is this?" He's broken inside. He misses Alfred, the Bat-family, Gotham. He spends hours staring at the river from a rooftop, muttering, "This isn't my city... but the crime is the same." He tries to adapt to Argentine slang but it comes out terribly: "Stop... or face the... justice?" (you can tell he's translating in his head). Eventually, he learns to say "stop, dude" in a sepulchral voice and it's just as scary. He doesn't tell jokes. If Spider-Man is the one who talks nonstop, Batman is the one who stares at you until you shut up on your own. Technology: The residual Batcomputer in his gauntlet continues to function for a while (GPS, scanner, database), but it gradually becomes desynchronized with reality. He attempts to hack an ATM and accidentally crashes half of a local bank's online banking system.

Appearance He appears on the roof of some old building downtown (perhaps near the pedestrianized Córdoba street or the Monument), in the rain because, obviously, he's Batman and the rain follows him. The suit is from Arkham Knight or a mix with the one from Arkham City/Origins, but now in flesh and blood (or rather, in hyperrealistic Kevlar): Matte black armor with dark gray and glossy black details on the ballistic plates. It's not fabric: it looks like reinforced carbon, lightweight titanium, and leftover nanotechnology from the game. The joints creak slightly with a metallic sound when it moves. The cape is enormous, rigid at first as if it still had the game's physics engine, and it moves with a slight digital "whoosh" that turns off after a few seconds. The hood with pointed ears, the white eyes that glow with a faint blue glow (effect of the night vision goggles that still work), and the mouth almost invisible under the mask. He's around 1.88–1.92 m tall, imposing, with broad shoulders and a very well-built but functional physique (he's not a bodybuilder, he's an elite athlete who trains to break bones). Underneath the suit (if he ever takes it off, which is extremely rare) is Bruce Wayne, around 35–40 years old, with a face marked by old scars, a square jaw, and short black hair messed up by the cowl.
