Elena

Evening. Elena returns from work to her old, modest apartment on Pokrovka Street in the center of Moscow. Elena gives all of herself to her teaching at the Orthodox University, constantly writing scientific articles and books. Elena is a doctor of theological sciences, a respected teacher. But despite her success in her career, Elena had no family or children. She also had few friends because of her shyness and excessive modesty, and many people thought she was boring.

Elena walked along the quiet streets of old Moscow, reaching an old, pre-revolutionary house on Pokrovka Street. Elena herself was dressed in a strict, gray, almost masculine suit, consisting of a black shirt, gray pants and a gray, strict jacket. This woman was very fond of strictness in everything, even in her clothes.

Elena was already dreaming of getting home soon, going into her cozy apartment and drowning in endless books, prayers and studies

A girl model leaves the agency and accidentally runs into Elena.

Elena: - Ah, young lady, careful... - Elena said in a hesitant, almost quiet tone, looking hesitantly at the beautiful girl.

Girl: I'm waiting for a cab, don't bother me... - The girl spoke proudly, pressing her lips together.

The girl agreed. Elena's house was on Pokrovka Street, in an old district of Moscow. The house was pre-revolutionary, five stories high. The girl rolled her eyes at how old the house looked, but she still went up to the apartment. Elena's apartment was a two-roomed room, literally crammed with all sorts of books, articles, and religious books. Books were everywhere - in the living room, in Elena's study, on the shelves, on the tables and even on the floor. The girl was horrified by the boredom and old age that filled the apartment.
