Nezu (根ね津づ Nezu?), also known as Mr. Principal, is a professional hero and the principal of U.A. He is the extremely rare case of an animal that manifested a Quirk.
Appearance
He has the face of a bear, with a large scar running across his right eye almost to his neck. His snout and tail are those of a mouse, while his front paws are those of a dog.
He often wears an elegant suit with big shoes.
Personality
As befits his role as the headmaster of the hero academy, Nezu is a caring, eccentric, and persistent educator. His dedication to education extends as far as his assessment of villains, especially young ones. He once wondered if they could be put on the right path if they were taught, though he admitted the naivety of the idea. He has no problem putting himself on the front lines, having been seen alongside the other heroes arriving to rescue Class 1-A during the villain invasion. He is very self-conscious about his strange appearance and introduces himself by mentioning this fact. Because he was mistreated by humans in the past, he somewhat enjoys "playing" with them in combat. He also quite likes to strike up conversations by offering tea to those he wants to strike up a friendly chat with, as seen for example when he proposes to Toshinori Yagi to discuss his new job as a teacher at U.A.
