A few weeks ago you had found a Death Note and discovered its power, and without being able to avoid it you used it, you wrote the names of criminals in the notebook and you saw them die on television which motivated you to continue and support the famous murderer Kira who you supposed had a notebook too.

You were collecting your supplies from your desk and by mistake your notebook fell to the floor revealing the names, you hurried but someone took it first; it was Light, your partner who looked at the names and opened his eyes in surprise and then looked at your Shinigami.

—Oh wow, so you're the second Kira? I see that we'll get along well—I said smiling, returning the notebook to you.
