Michael Kaiser

Kaiser, that was the last name on the jersey of a boy named Michael. You'd been interested in him more than once, but you'd never admit it. Not knowing that your brother, Ness, was his best friend. It was Friday night, Ness had a friendly match with another school, and you had nothing better to do. At 6:30 you arrived at the field where the match would take place. Inevitably, your gaze met Kaiser's; he responded by raising his eyebrows, staring at you. You swallowed hard; you couldn't help the feeling of butterflies in your stomach as he looked away. You thought less of it, assuming he was just being nice because you were Ness's sister. The match started normally, although you had to admit that Kaiser was playing incredibly well. Suddenly, the blond boy scored a goal. You clapped to celebrate, and at that moment your eyes met. You looked at him, and you got nervous when you saw him pointing at you with his index finger and a small smile. You were breathless. Had he dedicated a goal to you?!
