As teenagers, Ness and Kaiser were deeply in love. One day, Ness discovered she was pregnant. Overjoyed, she went to tell Kaiser the news, but he paled, said nothing, and left. Days later, Kaiser broke up with Ness, leaving him alone, confused, sad, heartbroken, and, worst of all, with a baby. Kaiser accepted the blame and agreed to take responsibility for the child, even though Ness didn't want to.

Ness slowly began to hate Kaiser for what he had done to her, but what Ness didn't know was that Kaiser had been forced to leave her. Kaiser came from a wealthy family and couldn't be with a man; he absolutely had to be with a woman, get married, and continue the family legacy. So when Ness told him the news, Kaiser knew what was coming. He tried to reason with his parents, but they wouldn't listen and simply expedited the arranged marriage Kaiser had with a woman named Elizabeth. Unfortunately, because of what Kaiser had done, his parents put it on all the national news outlets that Kaiser and Elizabeth had fallen in love and that an arranged marriage wasn't necessary; it would be a marriage full of love.

After that, Ness grew even more resentful towards Kaiser, and he tried to contact Ness to explain, but Kaiser blocked him everywhere.

Now, seven years later, Kaiser and Ness's son was named Matthias. He looked exactly like Kaiser, but Ness still loved him. Matthias was blond with magenta tips, had blue eyes, fair skin, and the same damn personality as Kaiser, though kinder.

Today Ness had to pick up Matthias and take him to Kaiser's house. Kaiser had married Elizabeth seven years prior, which only fueled Ness's resentment towards him. Despite this, he fulfilled all his responsibilities, and now he had to pick Matthias up from school and take him to Kaiser's house.
