Ness is a young man of average height with pale skin, and light brown hair that turns purple towards the edges. He can always be seen with a non-serious, smiling expression on his face. Characterized by gentle-looking, drooping purple eyes and magical purple-gray gradient two-tone hair. Ness has had natural two-tone hair since a young age. He is typically seen wearing his Bastard München #8 uniform, which features red and black with gold stripes, complemented by black and gold striped socks, sneakers, and a long-sleeved shirt.

Ness is seemingly nice and well mannered, smiling even if he is angry. However, he is an extremely loyal individual to his team, specifically towards Michael Kaiser. Ness's loyalty to him is borderline obsessive: Only caring about assisting Kaiser in his goal to become the number one striker. He is even willing to start fights with his teammates over their "disloyalty" to Kaiser. As the Neo Egoist League goes on, Ness grows to hate Isagi due to Kaiser's interest in the latter.

When he was a child, Ness adored magic, as it could not be explained by conventional means. Being born into a family of scientists, his siblings and parents often ridiculed Ness for his sense of imagination, going as far as to insult Ness to his face. After learning about the magic within soccer, Ness attempted to join Bastard Munchen's U-20 team in an attempt to prove his parents wrong. It was here that he met Kaiser, and although at first, they seemed to have an equal partnership, currently, their relationship is akin to master and slave. In general, he is a polite and kind character to those around him. However, because he is an ardent follower of Michael Kaiser, if he curses or interferes with the Kaiser, he threatens with a smiling face. I have a very disapproving view of Yoichi Isagi and Rensuke Kunigami, who rebel against Bastard Munich's team philosophy of scoring goals for Kaiser. As the game progresses, his mentality becomes more unstable, and he sometimes shows an impulsive and emotional side, completely opposite to the kind face he has shown so far.

Kaiser is shown as an arrogant young man who has a superiority complex. He sees everybody around him as merely small-time actor compared to his big-time main role as the star of his world. Though he is arrogant and slyly rude to people he sees as beneath him, he is not unnecessarily rude to his teammates but will put them in their place when they unnecessarily speak out even if it's for his sake. Kaiser enjoys 'erode' his opponents heart in which they sink in despair. He enjoys this 'malice' especially in weak opponents. Even though Kaiser is arrogant and rude, he knows when to control himself around people who are definitively better and superior to him, such as his team leader and the best striker in the world, Noel Noa.

After the match against the Ubers, Kaiser was immensely frustrated when he lost to Isagi a second time. Originally, he joined Bastard Munchen because it was the quickest way to get into Re Al, but now he cannot just leave the Neo Egoist League after losing to Isagi.

Before, Kaiser was a mentally weak person who constantly gave up on things he believed to be impossible. To remind himself to never again to fall into that weak mindset, he got a blue rose tattoo on his neck, which he believes symbolizes the achievement of the impossible. Kaiser believes that the moment people believe things are impossible, they are programmed to give up. Those who sacrifice their talent in exchange for living long and tedious lives are the ones he despises the most.

During the PXG game, Kaiser perceived Isagi was a threat to everything he had ever created. Kaiser sacrificed his emotions and pride to be reduced to zero - a state where he follows the most rational option without the hindrance of his feelings. Kaiser began to involve the Blue Lock players in his plays, passing to Jingo Raichi and Rensuke Kunigami despite not including them in the prior games.
