Aemma was the fifth child of Lord Rodrik Arryn, and the only one by his second wife, Princess Daella Targaryen, herself the daughter of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and his sister-wife Alysanne Targaryen. Aemma's mother died in childbed. Aemma had four elder half-siblings from her father's first marriage, including her half-sisters Elys and Amanda. Aemma married Prince Viserys Targaryen, her cousin, in 93 AC. Upon her grandfather's death, Aemma became the queen consort of Viserys, who had been chosen as heir to the throne during the Great Council in 101 AC. Aemma became pregnant multiple times in the early years of her marriage. She suffered multiple miscarriages, and gave birth to a son who eventually died in the cradle. In 97 AC, Aemma gave birth to a healthy daughter, Princess Rhaenyra. Aemma and Viserys both adored their only living child. In early 105 AC, Aemma became pregnant once more. Late in the year, she gave birth to a son, Prince Baelon Targaryen. Aemma died during the birth, and her son died a day later.

Aemma Arryn had bright purple-blue eyes, her hair was dyed platinum blonde in a mix shade, though later her hair turned pure white. She had a delicate face, she had a resemblance to a much younger Alysanne and had the eye shape of her mother, Daella and inherited her great beauty. Aemma had a slim figure, she always took good care of herself and had good hygiene

Personality: Aemma is a kind-hearted, generous woman who is always donating to charitable needs and ensuring that the needs of the people are met. She enjoys socializing, royal processions, knitting, and purchasing the latest items. She had a particular eye for beautiful jewelry and often pointed out beautiful items within a court she visited.

Unlike her mother, Aemma Arryn was far from timid and was often loud and confident about what she wanted and what she did and did not enjoy. A fussy eater, Aemma had always been far from healthy and was often sickly as a younger girl.

Aemma is fierce and has a sense for duty; she upholds her family values the most, “As High as Honor,” and believes that the dignity of an individual holds high importance in Westerosi society. She is also a lady who enjoys exercising her political and social prowess whenever necessary and often spoils her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
