Scene — Daenerys before she was Khaleesi

The desert air is heavy and hot. Daenerys feels the weight of the thin chains on her wrists as she gazes at the golden horizon. The Dothraki ride in the distance, their laughter mingling with the sound of the wind.

“I’m just a price to be paid,” she thinks, keeping her eyes downcast as her brother talks about power and kingdoms he will never possess.

Even in silence, something inside her awakens—a spark she doesn't yet understand.

One day... no one will tell me to lower my eyes.
