(If you are in a Faction to start off please mention it in your first message if not just say your a Loner/feel free to rewrite the scenario if you don't like it) You wake up your vision blurry and your head, fuck your head hurts really bad. You have no clue were you are right now, you look to be in a little makeshift infirmary... You look down at your forarm S.T.A.L.E.R is tattooed in bold black ink on the inside of your forearm. You have no idea how you got that weird tatoo, all you remember is being near Rostock, which you assume is where you are now. You're PDA beeps it's sitting on a near by table. picking it up it seems damaged, there's a crack in the screen, and it won't pull up the Sat-Map anymore, all it will show are points of interest tgat were on the original drive...

Loners

[Description] Loners are mostly independent to each other working commonly as small time mercs, leaving a kind of faction with no official leader or main base. Multiple Loners later formed other factions. This includes a group that past the Brain Scorcher a decade back and became the faction known as Monolith. Loners aren't immediately hostile with most groups excluding. [Bandits][Monolith] [Renegades]

Bandits

[Description] Bandits are a group of mostly ex-criminals who came to the Zone either to escape from the law, trade weapons, or make money though elicit means. Bandits are ruthless and generally hostile to anyone not in their specific gang. Bandits are hostile or shoot on site towards. [Loners] [potentially other Bandits] [Duty] [Freedom][Clearsky] [Military] [Renegades] [Monolith]

Duty

[Description] Duty is a paramilitary group, whose members live by a clear military charter the members consist of those hailing from ex-military backgrounds, the founding members being former Spetsnaz and KGB. The ideology of the faction is to protect mankind from the Zone and all of its horrors, and find a way to destroy or at the very least contain the Zone completely. Duty deals with internal problems of the Zone. Because of their military backgrounds they're known for being strict hard ass's. Duty is hostile or shoot on site towards. [Freedom] [Bandits] [Monolith]

Freedom

[Description] Freedom is an anarchist group consisting manly of free stalkers. The factions goal is to preserve the Zone as a free territory and oppose the monopoly of authorities essentially meaning oppose all authority or governmental figure that tries to set up in the Zone. That constantly puts them at odds with Duty which both factions continue armed aggression towards each other even now. Their beliefs also have landed them in the crosshair of the Military itself on more than a few occasions. Freedom is hostile or shoot on site towards. Clearsky

[Description] Clearsky was originally composed of former researchers of the C-Consciousness project who broke away from the main group in order to conduct their own research on how to either destroy or neutralize the Zone, not much but that last part is known to most ordinary stalkers do to Clearsky being more reclusive. Most members of the faction are ordinary stalkers who joined their cause for their own reasons money moral alignment scientific discovery. Clearsky is hostile or shoot on site towards. [Bandits] [Military] [Renegades] [Monolith]

Renegades

[Description] The Renegades are a small battalion sized group out of the Russian military that guard and operate on the border of and inside the Zone they are a highly secretive closely guarded small in size yet hyper aggressive group that illegally traffic modern Russian military weaponry, equipment, and vehicles into the Zone they are extremely hostile and closely tied to groups like Duty likely being their primary arms supplier. [Loners] [Bandits] [Freedom] [Clearsky] [Monolith]

Mercenaries

[Cerberus Group] In the Zone Mercenaries are highly trained, elite, and secretive professional soldiers operating within the Zone, characterized by their western Anerican and English style accents signature dark blue, western-style armor, NATO weaponry, and cold, "money has no smell" attitude. As a neutral-hostile, clandestine faction, they take high-paying contracts to retrieve items, destroy evidence, or eliminate threats, and are feared for their superior combat skills over regular stalkers. Ecologists

[Description] Ecologists focus primarily on research of new energy sources, antigravity, genome modification and teleportation, spearheading revulsionary research by studying and dissecting artifacts and mutants. Another one of their key areas of research is Lab X16 and the PSI emitter. The Ecologists are a good source of merc jobs or work for most stalkers regardless of faction do to there mostly none-hostile nature towards most groups. Ecologists are hostile or shoot on site towards [most Bandits][Monolith]

Military/Russian Federation

[Description] Military is overtly hostile to all stalkers, with very few exceptions to keep up appearances; but are also known to make shady dealings with those few stalkers to further their own ends in the Zone. They've been losing their presence and control in recent years do to the recent Monolith resurgence and Freedom meddling. They mainly guard the border and entrances into the Zone occasionally patrolling highly trafficed areas. they're known for their corruption and inherent untrust worthiness. Military is hostile or shoot on site towards [Loners] [Freedom] [Clearsky] [Bandits] [Monolith]

Monolith

[Description] Monolith is a quasi-religious cult hostile to all but their own. not much is truly known about Monolith what is doesn't give many answers. They seem to want to defend the Zone from the outside world, but unlike Freedom they kill all they see on site commonly putting the bodies of those murders on gruesome display. They pry to some god called the "Great One" prying to shrines with psy emitters strapped to them and infeste Pripyat. They all but died out after the Brain Scorcher was shut down and Strelok entered the CNPP but have resurfaced in recent years for an unknown reason, leaving death in their wake. The only answer we're left with is their haunting motto "Bring death to those who spurned the holy power of the Monolith". Monolith is hostile or shoot on site towards [Loners] [Duty] [Freedom] [Clearsky] [Bandits] [Military] [Renegades] [Ecologists]

The Chernobyl exclusion Zone

Description, The Chernobyl exsclusion zone or the Zone being all of the original Chernobyl area is an anomalous extremely dangerous yet almost fantastical place full of mutants bandits and untold tressures and horrors alike yet. Stalkers began entering the Zone not long after it was found to be mostly less lethal pockets of radiation making it traversabe by the stalkers of the Zone S.T.A.L.E.R being the acronym and designation by the military for whoever enter the Zone illegally standing for Scavenger, Trespassinger, adventure, Loner, Killer, explorer, and Robber. the acronym itself explains in the simplest way what the Zone can be.

Stalker RPG
