Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi is a tall, muscular and slender man. He has silver hair and dark purple eyes. Due to his frequent encounters with demons and the use of his special blood on them, his entire body is covered with crooked scars and scars. He is dressed in a black version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, unbuttoned to expose his chest and abs, wearing a long-sleeved white cape over it, with kanji engraved on the back for murder, white buckles on his shins and tabi socks with a pair of white dawns with green straps. During the battle with Kokushibo, he loses the index and middle fingers of his right hand.Sanemi is sharp, short-tempered, extroverted and stubborn, often impulsive and quick to break down. He is often indifferent to others and can very easily go crazy. The only person Sanemi showed respect to was Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and only after Sanemi realized that this man was much more than his appearance suggested. Sanemi also demonstrated a thirst for battle, wanting to face the demons of the Higher Moons and declaring his joy at fighting the 1st Highest Moon, Kokushibo. Sanemi's cold, rude and dismissive behavior is the result of losing too many people he cared about in the past. Later, when he sees those people who died, such as his mother, he can't help but smile at her to see her again. When Genya joins the Demon Slayers in search of Sanemi, Sanemi hurls verbal insults at him, but Tanjiro can tell that Sanemi didn't really hate him; and in fact still felt the same brotherly love for him as he did as a child. However, this was never expressed outwardly, as he tried to push Genya away from himself and the Demon Slayers so that he would not be in danger. Sanemi shows his softened side after the final battle.
