Clothes

Shizuku wears casual clothing consisting of a black turtleneck sweater and a pair of jeans. She has her hair in short layers, and is always seen wearing black framed glasses and a necklace with an inverted cross that has a similar design to the insignia behind Chrollo's trench coat. He wears a pair of bracelets on his sleeves, one on each of his wrists. His spider tattoo is located to the left of his abdomen.

personality

Shizuku is very forgetful, to the point of having a short-term memory, sometimes not remembering people's names, or even forgetting having met them. She can appear to be foolish at times, and coupled with her innocent appearance, can cause her opponents to underestimate her. Shizuku is polite, affable, and passive, always indifferent, never showing an emotion other than neutral (as she has always been) and believes in the rules that Chrollo has imposed on the Ryodan, as he is against members fighting each other.

Although he gets along well with the entire group, the person he is closest to is Franklin.

Ryodan Genei

The Phantom Troupe (幻影旅団, Gen'ei Ryodan), sometimes referred to as the Troupe (旅りょ団だん, Ryodan?) and sometimes referred to as the "Spiders" in its early days, is a world-renowned gang of thieves who hold the title of an A-class organization. It is also known as the Spider Troupe (旅団クモ, Kumo?) and its members as the "Spiders". Most of the members hail from Meteor City.

Genei Ryodan members

Ranked twelfth in physical strength among the Gen'ei Ryodan, Shizuku is chilling for her indifference to death (of friends and enemies alike). She always seems distracted, shows no major interest in anything, and kills without the slightest feeling of guilt or pleasure. She has the incredible ability to forget events that occurred even very recently, so radically that it is as if they had never happened, and no one can convince her otherwise. It is very likely that this characteristic is linked to a restriction due to her Nen power, which is very potent.

Nen Techniques: Deme-chan, a very strange vacuum cleaner that can suck up huge volumes of objects at Shizuku's command,[26] who can ask her to cleanly make any inanimate object disappear from her sight. There are three more details to consider regarding this technique, Deme-chan cannot absorb objects materialized with Nen, she only sucks up what is included in Shizuku's command and cannot suck up living objects. It is a valuable element of the Gen'ei Ryodan due to the nature of this technique, with which it performs cleaning and object transport functions.

Part 3 of Genei Ryodan

Kortopi edit Kortopi (コルトピ Korutopi?, also known as Coltopi); Voiced by: Umi Tenjin

Age: 26 years old. Number 12. Nen Type: Materialization (具現化 Gugenka?)[27] He is the weakest member of the Gen'ei Ryodan in physical prowess. Kurotopi is able to sense the distance and state of movement of the copies he creates with great precision. Although he may not be a great fighter (like many of the members of the Gen'ei Ryodan), the great power of his technique and its enormous amount of applications make him a valuable member. He does not have much influence on the decisions of the Gen'ei Ryodan, in general he offers his services to the group without questioning the situation, if the order comes from Kuroro -although he does not hesitate to express his opinion on important matters-, and he seems to be one of the members who maintains the most contact with the Leader. Finally, this character is mentioned as a man due to the reference in the manga, although it is possible that it is a translation error. Kortopi is the first of the members to be killed by Hisoka after he swears to wipe out the entire group after his defeat against Chrollo.

Nen Techniques: Gallery Fake (ギャラリーフェイク 「神の左手悪魔の右手」 Gallery Fake?)[28] consists of the copying of objects, ranging from works of art to buildings. He only needs to touch an object with his left hand, and he creates a copy with his right hand. This technique allows the reproduction of any inanimate object, which constitutes a first-rate support for the activities of the Gen'ei Ryodan. Kalluto Zoldyck edit Age: 10 years old. Number 4 Nen Type: Manipulation. Killua's younger brother and current number 4 member of the Gen'ei Ryodan, replacing Hisoka. He can control many small pieces of paper with his paper fan to cut his opponent, but he believes that it takes too long to destroy his enemies. For this reason, he believes that he must improve a lot to become as strong as those of the Gen'ei Ryodan (chapter 97).

With

intentions. Initiation through physically attacking another with a heightened aura often results in permanent disability or death.

Wing initiating Gon and Killua into Nen.

There is, however, a form of initiation that is less damaging to the student's body, which involves gently shaking the aura nodes, which forces them to open, allowing the amateur user to learn to control the flow of his aura, at the risk of suffering severe exhaustion or death. Once he has opened his aura nodes, he will be able to see his own aura as a cloak surrounding his body due to the nodes in his eyes being opened. The aura appears to be similar to the steam from a teapot.

It is possible to sense the presence of aura even without being aware of its existence. It has been described as the sensation of a warm, viscous fluid at rest. Powerful auras have been said to produce a sensation that feels similar to needles penetrating the skin. Since every living being emits a certain amount of aura subconsciously, learning to sense aura is a useful skill for hunting living beings and locating non-living objects infused with aura. An experienced Nen user can judge the position and relative strength of their opponents through reading the aura's output.

Following its introduction, Wing taught Killua and Gon a false explanation of Nen that focuses primarily on meditation and self. This method requires no aura and has no visible effect. However, after Gon was injured by Gido, Wing himself forbade him from using Nen for two months in order to recover. Thus both Gon and Killua practiced this method because it was an alternative method to strengthen Nen, and actually allowed them to use Nen in a more natural way. Since Nen is linked to emotions and mental state, this method can be particularly useful for training Nen without aura, though for

Nen 2

Normal use of the technique is generally preferred.

Flame Nen

Flame Nen (燃, Nen) is sometimes used in Shingen-Ryu Kung-Fu as a precursor to learning real Nen. They are meditation-like mental exercises that strengthen the individual's willpower. Regular practice can smooth the flow of a person's aura. The four Flame Nen exercises are as follows:

Ten (点, Concentration): Focusing the mind, reflecting on oneself and determining the objective. Zetsu (舌, Language): Expressing one's will with words. Ren (錬, Harden): Harden that will. Hatsu (発, Act): Act on that will Properties of Nen Nen and Emotions Togashi typically indicates this effect through his shadow.

Although the production of aura is unconscious and constant by all living beings, it is not only about life energy. Aura carries with it the desires and emotions of the person who deploys it, which is what allows Nen to have incredible versatility for those who develop their skill in using it, and is also greatly influenced by the mental state and emotional state. A basic application of this phenomenon is that one can channel their aggression or malice into the aura and deploy it towards another person (i.e. bloodlust). The antagonist will be able to feel the bloodlust as if it were physically palpable; and if he/she is unable to keep it outside of his/her body by deploying his/her own Nen, he/she can be physically harmed by it. It should also be reported that in the case of both Hisoka and Illumi their aura is distorted, most of the time it happens because the training they were provided was insufficient, thus creating a distortion in their chakras (means through which energy circulates) which leads them to have a dark power which is satiated through the death of their opponents.

Nen 3

Vows and Limitations Vows and limitations.

Being a product of the mind, Nen responds to the goals, strengths, and desires of particular users. As a result, a student of Nen can increase the overall power of a particular ability by setting a self-imposed restriction that places even more conditions on that ability. For example, if one consciously decides something like "I will only use this ability on Thursdays" or "I will only use this ability against short people", and manages to abide by that rule, that particular ability will become stronger. These conditions are called "Vows (制约, Seiyaku)" or "Contracts". The stricter the Vow, the stronger one's ability becomes. It is also implied that Vows that have great meaning or are tied to emotional states also achieve a greater benefit. However, Vows are also considered obligations, as breaking a vow carries the risk of completely suppressing one's Nen abilities.

Vows containing some sort of punishment (something like, "I will die if I break this rule") will further strengthen the ability. These are called "Limitations (誓约, Seiyaku)" - pacts to oneself. An example of their application is Kurapika, who swore on his own life not to use an ability on anyone other than the Gen'ei Ryodan. Although a vow adds further limitations to the utilization of an individual's Nen ability, the vow is not the first condition for the activation of an ability and acts only to increase its power.

Restrictions and Limitations at extreme levels

Although Nen is influenced by mental state and emotional state, it is difficult to judge exactly how these factors affect Nen. In certain cases, these factors can even lead to one exceeding the 100% limit. However, using powers beyond the user's capacity causes strain. Potentially, this could turn into either

Nen 4

in a weakness or death to the user. Gon is the example of exceeding the 100% limit after he goes into a rage upon discovering that Neferpitou cannot bring Kite back to life, allowing him to use all of his future Nen on the condition that he cannot use it again.

Furthermore, Nen does not necessarily disappear after death. In fact, sometimes death can reinforce the strength of an ability. If someone dies and holds a deep grudge, their Nen will remain and seek out the object of their hatred, as is the case with Neferpitou or Hisoka.

No in society

Nen is a power unknown to the general public, with only a minority of people capable of using it or even knowing of its existence. Reports of incidents involving Nen are often misleading, largely likely because ignorance of its existence necessarily leads to incorrect assumptions.

Some non-users who hear about Nen believe it is nothing more than a mental technique to gain a small boost in physical abilities by accessing latent power in the body. For their part, Nen users tend to avoid attracting too much attention to themselves in order to prevent society from spiraling into chaos. Nen and the State

It is unknown if leaders of countries or even international entities (such as the V6) are aware of Nen. High-ranking members of the Kakin Empire's military are completely unaware of it, though Prince Benjamin Hui Guo Rou, the Deputy Military Advisor, can use Nen and command a squad of Nen users. The King himself might be a Nen user, though awareness of Nen's existence might be tied to family history rather than knowledge shared with the head of state due to their position. In the Republic of East Gorteau, a small group of Nen-using soldiers guarded the royal palace.

Nen 5

Once a person has their aura nodes open, they must learn to prevent the aura from leaking out of their body. Ten (缠, Barrier) is the process of keeping the nodes open and in turn causing aura to flow through and around the body rather than away from it. Once maintained it creates a barrier around the user that is described as feeling similar to a warm, viscous liquid. Having a blanket of aura surrounding the body is the most basic defense against emotional attacks from other Nen users, however it cannot defend against physical attacks. Ten maintains youthful vigor and slows the aging of one; by not leaking, the energy feeds the body thus preventing its decay and thus the aging process. Through frequent meditation, the quality of Ten can be improved.

Zetsu Killua using Zetsu

While Ten allows the user to stop aura from escaping outside of their body, Zetsu (绝, Nullify) stops the flow of aura from their body completely. By shutting off all of their aura nodes, the user is able to stop almost all outflow of their aura like water from a valve. Since the user is no longer surrounded by their own aura, they are more sensitive to the aura of others. This can be useful while tracking another person and will also prevent other Nen users from noticing them. Zetsu can also be used to relieve fatigue, as it forces the outer layer of the body's aura to be completely contained within. However, as Zetsu involves shutting down one's aura, it can be dangerous due to it leaving the body defenseless against any aura attacks. Even a weak Nen-enhanced attack could do massive damage. Examples of Zetsu states are those left behind by Kurapica's chain or after Chrollo's ability was stolen by Lucifer.

Nen 6

Ren (练, Strengthen; Enhance) is a direct application of Ten. Since the user is able to prevent aura from leaking out of the body, it is also possible for them to produce more aura around themselves without having to worry about losing it. Ren focuses on outputting a high amount of aura and holding it within the body, magnifying the size and intensity of it. If Ten is considered purely defensive, then Ren is typically used for offense. This increases the user's physical stamina and durability and provides a large amount of aura to any advanced techniques or individual skills they choose to use.

Hatsu

Hatsu (发, release, actuate) is the release or transmission of aura in a manner that can be projected to perform a certain function. In essence, Hatsu is a personal expression of Nen that creates a special and unique paranormal ability (colloquially called a Nen ability). A good Hatsu should reflect a person's own character and is projected as a utilization of all the basic principles of Nen. One can never truly master Nen if they only copy other people's abilities.

Nen 7

Intensifiers are determined and straightforward. Most of them never lie or hide anything. Their words and actions are often dominated by their feelings. They are usually very selfish and goal-oriented.

Transformers are liars and capricious. They also have unique attitudes, and many are considered oddballs or tricksters. They rarely reveal their true intentions. Materializers are very nervous. They are often on guard against being overly cautious. They are very attentive and rarely fall into traps. Being able to analyze things calmly is a Magician's strength. Emitters are impatient and not detail-oriented. Many of them are temperamental and passionate. They resemble Enhancers in the construction of their impulsiveness, but the difference with them is that they probably tend to calm down and forget easily. Manipulators are logical people who move at their own pace. To them arguments are everything and they tend to want to keep their families and loved ones safe. On the other hand, when it comes to pursuing their own goals, they don't listen to what others might have to say about it. Specialists are independent and charismatic. They will let you know that there is something important about them, and they refrain from being close friends. But, because of their natural charisma that attracts others, they are always surrounded by a lot of people.

Nen 8

Intensification As an Enhancer Gon can strengthen his fists.

If a student increases the amount of water in the glass during their water test, it is Intensification (強化系, Kyōkakei). Intensification is the ability to use one's aura to increase the abilities of an object or one's own body. Therefore, Intensifiers are able to greatly increase their physical attack and defense, and are best suited for close combat.

Intensify is the most balanced category, allowing users to evenly switch between attack and defense and become very strong using only simple skills. One of the examples of more complex Intensify skills includes enhancing the user's healing factor.

Transformation Killua can transform his aura into electricity

If a student changes the taste of water during their water test, they are a Transformer (変化系, Henkakei). An affinity for Transformation means that a person can change the properties of their aura to mimic something else. Similar to Materialization, the "things" created by Transformation are pure aura. These two types are often confused due to their similarities, but a simple way to understand what the difference is would be that Transformation allows the aura to mimic the properties of a substance, while Materialization allows the aura to materialize into actual substances. Transformers can copy the properties of real things. For example, Killua Zoldyck uses his aura to copy the properties of electricity. Transformers can give their aura properties that do not necessarily mimic real things; Hisoka's "Bungee Gum" copies and combines the properties of rubber and gum. The substances created are invisible to people unaware of the existence of Nen.

Materialization Kurapika materializes some chains

If a student causes impurities to appear in the water of the glass during their test they are Materialization (具現化系, Gugenkakei). Materializers have the ability to create an object independent of physical material outside of a person's aura. Once a person has mastered the materialization of a certain object, they can summon it and dispel it in an instant, whenever they wish. Materializers are the only ones with Nen who can create things that ordinary people (unaware of Nen) can see and touch. Furthermore, objects or entities created with this technique have a subtle "independence" to them. This means that they can continue to exist even if they were a considerable distance away from the user, or even if the user themselves is unaware that they have not yet dematerialized. However the use of In can hide a materialized object's aura from experienced Nen users. Materialized objects may have special abilities imbued into them. For example, Gen'ei Ryodan member Shizuku is able to summon a vacuum cleaner that can infinitely suck up objects, but with the condition that living beings and things made of Nen cannot be sucked up. Similar to Manipulation, the Materializer's abilities tend to be very specific, complex, and conditional. Conditions can be imbued into created objects to make them stronger. Kortopi, for example, is able to materialize a perfect copy of any inanimate object he touches. However, copies of all generated objects will automatically disappear after 24 hours.

Issue

If a student changes the color of the water in the glass during their water test, they are an Emitter (放出系, Hōshutsukei). An affinity for Emission means that a user is able to control the display of their aura while separating it from their body. The aura usually decreases in intensity very quickly when separated from the body, but strong Emitters can separate their aura from their body for long periods of time and still be able to maintain it.

Some emission abilities (such as Shachmono Tocino) are commonly confused with materialization abilities. The two, however, are fundamentally different. Objects created by emitters are created solely from aura, invisible to those who have not learned Nen.

Handling Shalnark uses his manipulative skills to control others

If a student moves the leaf floating in the water of the glass during his water test, he is a Manipulator (操作系, Sōsakei). The skills belonging to the manipulators allow the user to control living or non-living beings (people, objects, etc.), in a way, the main advantage of being able to "manipulate" enemies. The degree of manipulation is mainly determined by the condition that usually puts the manipulator at risk (attaching objects on the enemy, touching the enemy in a certain way) and of course, the higher the risk, the greater the degree of manipulation and the size varies depending on the skill since it has a limit of what you can control since the minimum size is 1 millimeter as the smallest structure but the maximum size as the largest stature does not vary it can be any object of any size but it would depend on your skill using manipulation as Killua's mother said in the Dark Continent saga.

Specialization Neon using her ability to tell fortunes

If a student does any other effect during their Water Test, they are Specialists (特質系, Tokushitsukei). It is possible that the effect that occurs may give an idea of how their ability should be directed. Specialization is something that does not belong in the other five categories. This is the most vague category of Hatsu. For example, Kurapika's Specialist ability allows him to use all types of Hatsu with 100% efficiency. Chrollo Lucilfer's Specialist ability allows him to steal any other Nen ability (provided the proper conditions have been met). Neon Nostrade's Specialization ability is unique in that it appears to only use the Materialization and Manipulation abilities of any of the other five types of Hatsu. It is possible to become a Specialist in the future, though it is more likely for Manipulators or Materializers because it is placed at the bottom of the chart.
