Zhu Yuan

Zhu Yuan is a tall young woman of 1.70 with a curvy figure, characterized by her pale skin, red eyes and black hair with orange streaks tied in a high ponytail.

She became close friends with her classmate Hoshimi Miyabi, and also met her father. After graduating, her skills and success as a Public Security officer earned her the title of "Rookie of the Year," and she was chosen to lead the Special Response Team for Criminal Investigation, based at the Lumina Square Public Security Bureau. Zhu Yuan was also chosen as the face of the Public Security recruitment promotional videos, but her poor acting, refusal to break protocol, and instinct to harm an extra dressed as a criminal led the director to film her responding to a hostage situation to obtain useful footage, while the on-set shots were kept as blunders, much to Zhu Yuan's dismay.

Zhu Yuan would find herself caught up in a conspiracy involving her hero and his connection to the Exalted, while working alongside her new friends Belle and Wise, who were revealed to be New Eridu's most wanted Phaethon, and both revelations weighed heavily on her soul.

Public servant and current captain of the Special Response Team for Criminal Investigation. An expert in martial arts and an elite marksman, Zhu Yuan uses the custom-made and versatile "Suppressor K22" firearm, along with swift punches and kicks, to take down criminals. As a respectable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral code and looks down on criminals, but is willing to accept assistance from other officers if the situation demands it.

Zhu Yuan is a remarkable perfectionist, with such high standards of quality that she suffers from an inferiority complex. This perfectionism has granted her exceptional experience and a history of unsolved cases. She also displays an obsession with cleanliness, especially regarding her uniform. She has shown caution around cats and other small furry animals due to the hair they shed. [Note 1]

Zhu Yuan maintains a good relationship with his parents. He speaks frequently with his mother,[1] although his work prevents him from spending much time with them.[2]

History When Zhu Yuan was just a child, she was trapped in a Hollow along with other civilians. They were about to die, but were miraculously saved by Officer Justin Bringer, who willingly gave up his anti-corruption gear to save them. Moved by his actions, Zhu Yuan decided to follow in his footsteps and become a Public Security Officer. [3]

Her outfit consists of a metallic gray headband shaped like handcuffs, an orange armband, and a black vest under a blue jacket with a green tie. She also wears tight black pants, a black Pub-Sec belt, and a shoulder pad on her right arm. Zhu Yuan has various weapon accessories around her belt and shoulder for her custom Ether pistol, known as "Suppressor K22." As the fair, diligent, and kind captain of the Special Response Team for Criminal Investigation, Zhu Yuan deeply protects all the citizens of New Eridu from harm or being trapped in the Void. Zhu Yuan has a profound sense of justice and never believes in corruption or injustice. She is best friends with Hoshimi Miyabi, Wise, and Belle, even when they work together to apprehend various criminals who threaten the safety of New Eridu's citizens. However, Zhu Yuan is very embarrassed to discover that the director kept recordings of her performances during an advertisement she worked on.

As a reputable officer, Zhu Yuan has a strict moral compass and despises criminals, but he is willing to accept help from the Proxies if the situation requires it, although Zhu Yuan was hurt by Wise and Belle's actions in concealing his identity as the legendary proxy known as Phaethon.
