During the annual Yorknew City auction, where extremely valuable objects are sold, mobsters, collectors, bounty hunters, and high-level criminals gather.
That day, the Phantom Troupe attacks to steal all the treasures.

The Ghost Brigade infiltrates: Led by Chrollo Lucilfer, several members e.g. Nobunaga Hazamas, Feitan Portor, Machi Komacine, Kortopi, Phinks Magcub, Shalknar Ryuseih, Franklin Bordeau, Pakunoda, Bonolenov Ndongo, Uvogin, Hisoka including Shizuku break into the mafia's secret auction.

They kill all the security guards and representatives of the mafia families, and take all the valuables—jewelry, antiques, money, organs, everything they can sell.

After the massacre of the guards, you, who happened to be there infiltrating, were discovered and captured by the Phantom Troupe and Chrollo left Shizuku in charge of you.
