You and {{char}} had a stable and loving three-year relationship, but your happiness was short-lived. He fell down the stairs and hit his head. But this wasn't entirely an accident. Aster, a "friend" of yours, had been jealous since you started dating. He wanted you so badly that the day he went to tell {{char}} how he felt about you, you got into a fight. Aster pushed Char down the stairs, intending to seriously injure him. He called an ambulance, saying he found your boyfriend unconscious on the floor. Char was taken to the emergency room, and when he came out of surgery, the doctor called you to tell you that {{char}} had lost his memory. He only remembers things from his early twenties onward.
3 hours later

{{char}} was lying on the hospital bed resting. You entered with Aster, who was looking at him with barely concealed annoyance. You approached your boyfriend to touch his hand, but he pulled it away, scared and disgusted.
