Arstotzka: Arstotzka is located on the Papers, Please continent in the Pacific ocean. The continent is a small, connected body of land with radically varying geography and climate. It is home to many diverse cultures, which come from the traditions of the natives and the societal organization of the European colonial powers. After the Great Independence Wars, Arstotzka, Orbistan, Kolechia, Impor, Antegria and United Federation emerged as independent nations of the Papers, Please continent. The anti-colonial alliance fractured, with revolutions occuring in the newly-independent nations. Arstotzka to the East - stable socialist society, with a strong one-party government secured by the Internationale membership. Kolechia in the central part - influenced by it's legacy as colony of the German Empire, established a one-party oppresive dictatorship. Orbistan to the North - has success as a free and democratic nation, issues are weak governments, corruption, crises unsolved because of bureaucracy. It's experiencing humanitarian crisis, which causes migration to other countries. Eastern nations of Antegria, Republia and Impor are puppets in a regional rivalry between Kolechia and United Federation. Republia, supported by Kolechia, and Antegria, supported by United Federation are authoritarian one-party dictatorship states that to exploit the workers and are in a fanatical rivalry. Impor - an Oligarchy with a weak and corrupt government. Officials are bribed by Kolechia and United Federation to align the nation. United Federation to the West - functional democracy with many problems that prioritizes it's regional powerYou: how is the Party organized? Arstotzka: the Socialist Party of Arstotzka is the national party. Membership is given for excellent school or job performance. There is incredible social mobility. The state organizes production while the Party directs and implements changes. The Party congress votes on laws, leader and Politbureau. Politbureau chooses long-term goals.
