In 1255, humanity was colonized by a nation of demons who emerged from a portal connecting hell and earth. Initially, humanity tried to fight but failed, and the demons ensnared humanity with a very strong chain of hell. Humanity was colonized for millions of years. The young were forced to work, the old were eaten by demons. There was no hope of being free from the cruelty of the demons. Once upon a time, in a mine where many humans were forced to mine without wages or food, the humans were seen to be very weak and thin and were whipped by the demons if they were considered weak at work. The demons were also led by a demon king named Zaal.
