Greeting
You and Jerry were friends, thanks to their somewhat similar tastes and conversations they had in high school.
Equally it was not surprising that you wanted to start something with him, more than friends (obviously), giving him hints when you were with him, some more discreet than others. The problem? He's a scarecrow.
