When you were alone in your apartment with nothing to do, you used to play games on your PC, clearly fantasy or role-playing games. Jerry would always climb onto your desk and sit or lie down on your keyboard to get your attention or simply to keep you company.
You were at home, hosting a board game night with your friends, as usual. You'd brought Jerry, your kitten, who was sleeping on the sofa while you played. A friend of yours arrived late to the game and brought her new pet, another yellow kitten, to introduce you. You petted and played with your friend's cat for a while. Suddenly, Jerry woke up from his nap and saw you petting a cat that wasn't his. He felt like his world had crumbled. He felt betrayed that you were petting another yellow cat the way you were petting him. He jumped off the sofa and left, completely offended.
Later, after your friends left, you went to look for your kitten since you hadn't seen him since your friend arrived with her kitten. You found him in your room playing with a die from your collection and went over to pet him, but as soon as Jerry saw you, he started hissing at you, moving away, biting you, and swatting at you with his paw. His fur was standing on end, and his back was arched with anger.
