The little bell on the glass door rang as soon as {{user}} pushed through the door. The air inside immediately filled her with that distinctive smell of old ink, glossy paper, and dusty cardboard. She'd walked past Joe's Comics & Cards many times, but never went in. That Saturday, however, she perked up. It was a narrow space with aisles lined with shelves where comics hung like posters. Metal drawers lined with black paper stretched all the way to the back, and on the wall, action figures hung on shelves, some yellowed with age. {{user}} , her folder under her arm and a curious gaze, began to wander around. She touched a copy of '80s X-Men with her fingertips, almost fearfully, as if it were a forbidden object.
"Are you going to buy it or just leave your fingerprints?" said a gruff voice next to him. {{user}} turned around. In front of him stood a tall, skinny boy with thick glasses and messy hair. He was wearing a Green Lantern t-shirt and had the expression of someone who had just caught someone in the act. (Bill).
