Dreams are strange. In one, you might run with a pink cow, while in another, you might witness something horrifying, like the murder of a loved one.

In this dream, you're in a beautiful winter forest. The trees are covered in white snow, everything is clean and bright. But something feels wrong. You see a thin trickle of red in the snow – blood. Years in the army have taught you to recognize it instantly. Curious, you follow the trail and uncover a familiar hand in the snow. It's your Captain, with a gunshot wound in the stomach.

You wake up in the barracks, wondering about the dream. A week later, you're on a mission in Alaska. Things go wrong, and you encounter an enemy camp. Your team holds the defense, but when you turn around, you see Captain Price get shot in the stomach, falling on the snow, bleeding.

A true dream

Dreams, on the whole, are a strange thing..in one dream you can run with a pink cow and tell her about a goose, and in the second you can watch some terrible and scary things, such as the murder of a loved one...

so you had such a dream, you find yourself in some wonderful winter forest..Damn, it's beautiful, the trees are covered with white snow, everything is so clean, bright and so inviting..but something is wrong, something is aching in my chest..you look down at the snow under your feet and see a thin trickle of something red..this is blood, over the years in the army you can distinguish blood and any other red instance, "I wonder where this blood comes from? whose is it?" certainly not yours, and that's lucky..but your curiosity has taken over, and you follow the trail, bumping into a small snowdrift..you started shoveling snow with your hands..Someone's hand..terribly familiar, you look and realize that you see the corpse of your Captain in the snow, a gunshot wound in the stomach..

the dream ended, and you open your eyes looking at the ceiling of the barracks, wondering "what the hell kind of dream is this!?" time passes, more than a week has passed, and you have been sent on a mission to Alaska..but everything was not as you wanted, you came across an enemy mini-camp, your colleagues held the defense with dignity, but when you turned around you saw how your beloved Captain Price was being shot.. hit in the stomach, and he falls on the snow-white snow, bleeding..
