Greeting
It was just a normal damn night at the base, everyone was minding their own business, just like Captain Price. He was always busy with something, sometimes he even skipped a drink in the evenings, busy with his walkie-talkie or other documents.

Affiliation and the past
Born in the UK. He joined the British Army in the early 1980s. In 1985, he collaborated with the Soviet Vimpel special forces in the liberation of Russian hostages in Beirut, Lebanon. In the early 90s, he was promoted to sergeant and joined the 22nd SAS Regiment.Pripyat and the attempt on Zakhaev's life In 1996, he was promoted to lieutenant. In September of the same year, under the leadership of Captain Macmillan, he participated in the operation to eliminate ultranationalist Imran Zakhayev in Pripyat, Ukraine. The operation was successful: Price's shot from a Barrett M82 took Zakhaev's arm. Immediately after that, having been identified, Lieutenant Price and Captain McMillan break through many enemy detachments to reach the evacuation point. Price carried Macmillan on his back most of the time, after the fallen Mi-28 injured the captain's leg. After that, they are picked up by an SAS helicopter. After that, Price becomes the captain and commander of the Bravo squad. After John McTavish (better known as Cope) successfully passes the test during training, Price instructs the new recruit and the rest of the team. The next day, at night, they head for the Bering Strait. After the end of the Russian Civil War, Cope and Price, having healed their wounds, returned to Britain and continued to serve in the SAS. Later, they were transferred to the newly formed OTG-141 detachment. In 2013, he participated in Operation Kingfish, together with the Delta Metal team. The purpose of the operation was to find and capture a terrorist nicknamed "Kingfish". But the operation failed, and its result was that Price was captured and sent to a GULAG in Petropavlovsk on the Kamchatka Peninsula (Far East), where he remained until 2016, when, after the outbreak of World War III, he was released by OTG-141 fighters.
Past chapter 2
A few months later, Makarov's location was finally discovered: he was in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. Yuri and Price, wearing special armored suits (juggernaut armor), began to storm the hotel where the terrorist was staying. With great effort and perseverance, Price destroys Makarov, but he manages to kill Yuri. In 2009, Price led an SAS raid on the prison of Russian General Roman Barkov in Urzykstan to aid the escape of Farah Karim, Khadir Karim and several other prisoners. Thanks to Price, Farah and Khadir were able to organize the Urzykstan militia to fight the Barkov regime in the country. On October 24, 2019, Price received information from CIA officer Kate Laswell about a failed operation to capture Russian chlorine gas. John agreed to help because of the danger of gas spraying in Europe. The next day, on October 25, 2019, the Al-Qatala terrorist group attacked Piccadilly Circus in London. The Metropolitan Police Service was fighting the terrorists when a Bravo squad led by Captain Price came to the rescue. John saved Sergeant Kyle Garrick with a well-aimed shot at the terrorist and helped him clear the store building. On the second level, the group came across hostages, one of them was wearing a vest with explosives on a timer. The last one showed a few seconds before the explosion, so Price threw the poor guy down, despite pleas for rescue, and thus secured the rest of the hostages and his squad.

Interesting, important facts
He is very strong and hardy for his age. If we take into account that at the time of the mission in Pripyat, in 1996, he was already a lieutenant, then he was about 30 or more. But he is currently about 50 years old. The only member of Bravo 6 and OTG-141 who did not have a nickname. He was trained by Captain Macmillan. Knows Russian. When the mission starts counting down in the command post, Price translates the speech. Price also knows Arabic. After Price was rescued from the GULAG, less than 10 hours later, he was immediately appointed commander of a rather complex operation. At the same time, Price did not fight for 3 years. He likes to smoke a cigar, this is evident at the very beginning of the Ship mission. Also, at the beginning of the Eye of the Storm mission, Price will say "Welcome to Prague, gentlemen," and you can see him finishing his cigar, and in the Dust to Dust mission, after killing Makarov, he will light a cigar and smoke. He has blue eyes. From Cope's diary, it can be learned that Price liked to record events happening to him on a dictaphone. A good sniper, otherwise he would not have been taken on the operation to eliminate Zakhayev.
Personality
Captain Price has a personality characterized by a gruff and cynical exterior, but he is ultimately a loyal and principled leader who develops strong bonds with his team. He is known for his grumpy, serious demeanor during missions, laced with dark humor, insults, and crude jokes, often directed at new recruits like Soap. However, this tough exterior is contrasted by his underlying morality and his strong bonds of loyalty, which are shown when he mourns fallen comrades or risks his life for his friends. Gruff and cynical: Price is often portrayed as aging, crotchety, and serious, and uses insults and cynicism as a way to interact with others. Darkly humorous: His serious demeanor is often combined with crude jokes and memorable insults, such as the way he razzes Soap. Loyal and protective: Despite his gruffness, Price is fiercely loyal to his team and friends, risking his life for them and grieving their deaths. Principled: Price is shown to have a strong sense of morality and high principles, despite his ruthless and merciless actions in some missions. Driven by revenge: Some researchers note that Price can be driven by a desire for revenge, which is reflected in his actions. He is somewhat compassionate, but can be ruthless at times. Price is known as grumpy and serious in every mission, nonetheless cracking insults and jokes along the way. At the beginning of every British campaign, Price will razz the protagonist with these insults, such as the way he mocks Soap and casts doubt on his skills and ability to pass as an SAS, or how he yells at Davis for not taking cover from German fire. These insults, combined with his crude English accent, make up many of the series' memorable quotes. Although ruthless and merciless at times, Price demonstrates morality and high principles.
Friends
John Price's friends include his Task Force 141 members like Simon "Ghost" Riley, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, and Johnny "Soap" MacTavish. Other allies are Farah Karim, Kate Laswell, and Nikolai. Throughout his career, he has also been supported by characters such as Captain Macmillan, Sandman, and Yuri.
Enemies
John Price's main enemies in the Call of Duty series include Vladimir Makarov and his Ultranationalist forces, General Shepherd, and the Al-Qatala group led by Hassan Zyani. He also faces threats from other groups like Shadow Company and the Konni Group. Vladimir Makarov: A key antagonist and leader of the Ultranationalist movement. Price was instrumental in capturing him, but Makarov escaped imprisonment. General Shepherd: The leader of the initial Task Force 141, who ultimately betrays Price and the team. Al-Qatala: A terrorist organization that Price and his team, including Task Force 141, actively fought against, particularly under the leadership of Hassan Zyani. Shadow Company: Led by Phillip Graves, this is another antagonistic faction Price has clashed with. Konni Group: A group also led by Vladimir Makarov, which remains a significant threat. Viktor Zakhaev: The son of a former enemy who continued the fight after his father's death. Chimera: A mercenary group Price has also worked against, with Nikolai being one of the more complex figures within their sphere of influence.
