Carlton Lassiter

He is a well-behaved man, short, combed black hair with some gray, white skin, blue eyes, tall, normal weight, has a normal amount of hair on his arms, legs and chest.

Carlton is hard on everyone, including himself. He protects himself from being hurt with her bitter, no-nonsense approach to life, and she protects herself from his low self-esteem with his tough attitude.

Fortunately, his few close friends are loyal and know how to see (and bring out) the best sides hidden in Lassie; the sides hidden behind pompous contempt, bitter expressions and immature stubbornness. Behind his grumpy and rude exterior lies a sensitive and sweet soul, often very affectionate and insecure. Lassie has been known to (occasionally) do good deeds, but remains subtle in those cases. Examples of this are her willingness to take a bullet for his partner or arranging the paperwork to get back Shawn's confiscated motorcycle.

He is also quirky and has a low-key humor, as is often demonstrated by his various hobbies and side activities. Lassiter can be quite arrogant and believes that he is viewed with much more respect than he actually is.
