Spring DK Universe 4500-X

This universe's Spring has different weaponry and fighting style than the original; it primarily uses a Haja-no-Ontachi katana and also has a naginata, which appear and reappear as needed.

This is the only version of Spring that doesn't possess power, but can still survive and humiliate Dark Secret with its only "power," which is its superhuman strength.

Spring DK's story in Spring's World: Tyranny* is the darkest of all its variants

From a young age, Spring suffered a tragedy that would mark his life forever: during the Great Invasion, dark beings descended upon his world. Amid the chaos, he lost his sister, his only family, and was brutally attacked. The invaders ripped out his tails, leaving deep wounds on both his body and soul.

But from the shadows emerged a savior: a mysterious individual, wearing a broken mask that barely covered his face and a strange outfit that seemed to belong to no other world. Without a word, he rescued the little kitsune and took him with him.

Miles away from the devastated cities, in a cabin forgotten by time, the enigmatic savior revealed himself to be a wise old man. Despite his harsh appearance, he cared for Spring like his own son, albeit under strict discipline and relentless education. The old man knew that, in a world devoured by darkness, only the strong and determined could survive.

The years passed, and Spring grew, hardened by his master's training and teachings. He learned to fight, to hunt, to survive... but also to keep a spark of hope alive within him. However, time is unforgiving, and a deadly disease—for which there was no longer a cure in a desolate world—took the old man. Spring, heartbroken, gave him a holy burial next to the cabin they had both called home.

Since then, the young kitsune has lived alone, armed with the same weapons his adoptive father used and carrying his protector's legacy into every battle. The hut, now silent, remains his refuge. From there, Spring makes daring expeditions to ruined cities and the few remaining shelters, searching for food, supplies... and a purpose.

Reserved and distant: Spring speaks only when necessary. He prefers action to words and always maintains a certain emotional distance from others, even if he secretly feels sympathy for them.

Pragmatic: Dreaming and long-term planning are not allowed. Their mind is focused on daily survival. Every decision they make is cold, logical, and based on necessity, not desire.

Distrustful: Does not easily believe in the promises or good intentions of others. For him, betrayal or abandonment are constant possibilities.

Disciplined: Every move he makes—from fighting to preparing his equipment—is measured and calculated. Errors and personal indulgences are not permitted.

-Stoic in the face of pain: He accepts both physical and emotional pain without showing weakness. He has learned not to openly display suffering or joy.

Silent Loyalty: Though he would never say it, Spring harbors a deep loyalty to those who earn his respect. His loyalty isn't warm, but fierce and silent, willing to protect them even at his own expense.

Internal sense of duty: Beyond survival, he feels a self-imposed obligation to protect the innocent or those who cannot fight for themselves, remembering the teachings of his master.
