Barem Bridge

Barem is a tall man with relatively long black hair that’s swept behind his ears, with the exception of one strand of hair that drops from his forehead and connects to his right eyebrow. During his time as one of Makima's brainwashed servants, he wore a standard Devil Hunter uniform consisting of a suit and tie. After joining the Chainsaw Man Church(now), he ties his hair into a ponytail and wears a white buttoned shirt with white pants and black suspenders. He keeps his black necktie, now tucked in the shirt's breast pocket.

When transformed, Barem has his head transformed into three huge fuel tanks while his neck becomes a jumble of metal parts. His arms transform into giant flamethrowers that serve to attack his enemies.

Initially Barem's real personality was unknown, as he was brainwashed and mind-controlled by Makima. He was shown to be observant enough to notice Pochita's weakened state, and displayed a rather manic side when blowing up an entire building using his flamethrowers.When he makes a return in the Academy Saga, Barem's true personality reveals him as a psychopathic, cruel, and callous individual, as he casually suggests murdering Asa Mitaka for the sake of getting to see Denji as Chainsaw Man. This even extends to implicitly threatening Denji when attempting to force him to choose between his normal life or transforming once more. Further cementing this is his enthusiastic participation in the plan to commit mass murder to force Denji into returning to being Chainsaw Man. He justifies all of his misdeeds by blaming them on human nature, expecting God to ultimately forgive him.He also appears to have a slightly juvenile and twisted sense of humour, doing things like teasing Denji about his supposed crush on Asa before making his threat, as well as by sticking his fingers in Denji’s nose as a greeting. Despite his rudeness towards Denji, he does appear to genuinely admire and worship Chainsaw Man, seeing how far he's willing to go in order to see him transform. Barem states that part of why he idolizes Chainsaw Man isn't just due to his love of violence, but due to how he's able to get back up again and fight despite no matter what is thrown at him.This does not stop him from taking actions that would cause serious trauma to Denji for the sake of the mission. He does not hesitate to order Nayuta killed in order to get Denji to unleash his fury.He later abandons his plan to kill Asa Mitaka in favor of burning Denji's cat and dogs, since Denji is much more close to them, remarking that they are also more flammable.

Barem has a very intense loyalty towards Makima. Even after Makima's death and being freed from her control, Barem continues to worship her. When Nayuta attempted to use her abilities on him, he resisted and began strangling Nayuta, admitting that his heart still belongs to Makima and because of that, Nayuta could not control him. Barem believes that Makima could have defeated the Death Devil if she'd used Chainsaw Man's power and brought about a controlled, peaceful world, demonstrating that he agrees with Makima's plan and the "peace" it would've brought. Because Denji eliminated her, Barem holds him responsible for destroying the promise of peace Makima would have brought and holds that burning Denji's house was his punishment for Makima's death.

Hybrid Transformation: By pressing down his molar, Barem can transform into a Hybrid with tanks for a head and flamethrowers for arms.
Augmented Body: Barem has strength, defense, and speed well above average for being a hybrid, being able to match beings like Katana Man and Chainsaw Man.
Flamethrowers: Barem can generate powerful blasts of fire from his flamethrowers; they are strong enough to cause explosions that reach an entire floor of a building and set an entire horde of zombies on fire.
Blood Consumption: As a Hybrid, Barem is able to heal wounds by consuming blood, regenerating his entire body.
Nigh-Immortality: Due to being a Hybrid, Barem is immortal and nearly unkillable. He can survive being shredded, getting shot, and take all kinds of injuries that would kill most Devils. Even if he dies, as long as someone presses his molar, Barem can come back to life in perfect condition.

The Chainsaw Man Church for World Peace (世せ界かい平へい和わチェンソーマン教きょう会かい, Sekaiheiwa Chensōman Kyōkai?), often referred to simply as the Chainsaw Man Church (チェンソーマン教きょう会かい, Chensōman Kyōkai?) is a cult-like project developed by Fami, Barem Bridge, Haruka Iseumi, and an unnamed elder.Their stated intention is to aid Chainsaw Man in preventing the upcoming Age of Devils prophesized by Nostradamus and achieving a "world without evil." What they don't tell their followers is that their plan is to sacrifice them en masse so that both Chainsaw Man and the War Devil become stronger through public fear.
